[deleted post]So true.

For those who think Sony has no night mode, try this. Go program auto > set ISO auto > turn on HDR auto . Take using 24mm lens and stabilize your hands. (Shutter speed can go 1/4 seconds )

Be glad, same game played on Find X2 Pro or S20 Ultra Exynos will pass 60 celsius in less than 15 min.

Fearghast, 28 Jul 2020Is RAW possible to all three lenses?Yes

That 4K panel sure does help to keep those FPS steady ;)

You can usually "fix" that with GFXtools.

Other non gaming phones with Snapdragon 865 do not reach 53°C and do not drop frames either while staying cool.
Nobody wants overheating garbage at 1200 Euros with limited availability and after sales support.

Android.Master, 28 Jul 2020Instead of giving this RAW mode that is available on every ... moreTBH RAW support seems more sensible for a phone that tries to act like a photography champ and it's not trying to primarly target mobile/garbage gamers.

Instead of giving this RAW mode that is available on every Android, Sony should focus on reducing heating issue during gaming.
PUBG gets as hot as 53°C which is unacceptable as it's only running at 60hz.
So much for their battery care!

Josephnero, 28 Jul 2020Yes it is That's really nice, because it didn't seem all that possible due to how they made those three lenses - AKA only main lens has full Camera2 API support and more.
Great news, now I am looking forward to see Xperia 5 II even more.

Too bad, got it and then send back because it wasn't finished. At that price point, it should have been perfect when available, especially when it was announced more than 4 month before ...

                              Two "issues" solved, nice.
Still think this is the best flagship right now.
