If it had a Pixel-Qi (normal screen and e-ink screen together) to read books comfortably on the beach or on natural light conditions, I would buy it. As it hasn't this important feature for me, I'll continue with the Notion Ink Adam Pixel-Qi tablet.

Excellent news. Cheap and cheerful tab that can be used when away from the PC/Laptop, and one that receives all future updates first.

Google's strategy is not directly a $500 tab and get mocked, but its about market share. First it wants to overtake amazon kindle fire, which has the second highest market share. Then iPad. After Google, now watch out for 'Amazon kindle fire 2'. The current kindle fire will be available for $150.

Why do people keep dinging the Nexus 7 for only supporting Wi-Fi? If 3G/4G is that important to you, you already have it on your smartphone. It's called tethering, people, and it's been around for years. You're not going to be making phone calls on your Nexus Tablet, are you? And for home usage, it's just plain silly to use anything other than Wi-Fi unless you have unlimited LTE data, in which case, you'd just tether to your phone at home. You wouldn't be using both at the same time, would you?

I think that the device is GREAT the idea of having a tab with the latest android version and up to date is amazing and it would be the perfect reading, browsing, gaming tab for a really good price. i mean for exemple if you want a device for gaming watching videos this is perfect... the only complain is the lack of 3g witch here where i live doesnt makes alot of difference since 3g speeds here suck.

now with JB im thinking twice about upgrading from gs2 to gs3... imagine how long it would take to samsung relase that shit...
