Just updated my phone 2 days ago. My phone got slower & sluggish. AT times it also hangs. I'll give it 1 week. Is there a way to revert it back to Gingerbread?

Yes, why don't you rub it into my face Scamsung!
Most phones from other brands are getting ICS.
Sad part is that these phones have lower specs than my Galaxy S and Galaxy S sold millions of units worldwide.
It's just Scamsung's customer service at its best! :(

malfunctioning of keys has stopped but the only thing i experienced is battery drains faster and the overheating issue is not solved yet

I have "Official" ICS 4.0.4. I am from Philippines and all I can say is you have to root your phone first in order to get the best potential from ICS in Xperia mini

I'm still waiting for the update on my SIM free Xperia Ray in the UK. It would have been nice if SE informed customers that SIM free customers would be at the back of every list.

i updated to ICS just now and here's what happened
                PROS
                1. beautiful roboto like feel to it
                2. updated notifications drawer with settings and all of the stuffs
3.settings dig in deeper now, you can now tweak more than " idiot friendly stuffs" its more organized now
4.accessibility features like talkback, large text, speak passwords, touch and hold delay- are alreadi ingrained
                5. control data, setting limit to it
6.lockscreen now better with your info displayed and music app
                7. aesthetic tweaks on the web browser

                CONS
                1.battery life is noticeably shorter
2.lags quite noticeably at different parts of the interface , the homescreen, epic example is the photos and vid widget which runs smoothly in GB but here modified to render slowly but actually lags loading, open it all along with the other stuffs and voila, an unacceptable performance from a 1ghz ics running phone
                3. [developer stuff ] in the app settings has the potential to ruin your experience IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING :)ba-bye task killers
                4. I NOW KNOW WHY JELLYBEAN HAS THE BUTTER project, ICS on mini is not the best TOUCH experIEnce
                5. initially temperamental SOME BUGS like camera gallery not working, tryng wallpaper and it goes poof some are force closing, which can be handled by turning the phone off,
                6. UI tweaks, interfaces, i wish Sony retained the camera interface because believe it or not thats easier to deal with rther than digging deeply unto settings to change this or that on the settings, takes time geting used to,
7.if your into games no preloaded watsoever here,
                8. the messaging app ( personal gripe ) in Gb it goes with neon colors which for me is better because i can read it in bright light conditions, the one in ics is darker though the other dialogue is white

The ICS update for the mini was done not because of some customer centric motive to support old devices. But because the mini has had overheating problems from the start and the ICS update is supposed to help it in some way.

Hi I'm using ICS on my mini for 3 days. At first it was a bit laggy. I just restarted it and its ok. I love the changes specially on settings and screen lock.
Holo launcher app is great too for mini.

Received it about 2 weeks ago. Many improvements but some bugs are also present in the update. The battery life is decreased while the ram usage and browsing speeds have increased.
