can you guys check if your internet sharing is working?
coz after i bought my omnia w i got an update and after updating my internet sharing stopped working

I don't know why people at Microsoft don't just pick up a 2009 feature phone (like Sony Ericsson J20) and say "OK guys, we are going to implement the basic features of this rather old feature phone in our new mobile OS"
I swear every hyped feature they announce is already in my phone.
Custom ringtones? DLNA content sharing? Continuous Wi-Fi even when the phone goes into standby? MEDIA FILES IN MMS MESSAGES?! EXPORT AND IMPORT CONTACTS?! FILE MANAGEMENT?! BLUETOOTH FILE SHARING?!
It's weird. What Windows Phone lacks is actually the very basic and perhaps easy to implement features of any phone on the market since 8 years ago, and yet it has such advanced features like built-in social network implementation...

hey GSMArena, you got it wrong. Omnia W is released with Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, which already has Internet Sharing out of the box (same as HTC Radar).
Only Nokia Lumia phones (800, 710) needs a Tango update to enable Internet Sharing.

Yeah! I got this update via Zune,
performance of my phone improved a lot loving my WP :):)
And internet sharing was alrdy in my device even b4 tango update :)

i've got this phone for over a month now.
im not actually sure if its on Tango, maybe not.
but it got internet sharing feature straight out of the box.
(phone is a local Singapore set)

Sorry no Tango update available as on date on my Samsung Omnia W, only have Mango. And do not think the update will have enough improvements over the current problems.
