Heck if theres gold and diamonds in the box, it's a no if theres no IP68 rating. Never had any damp issues with my phones in 20+ years using them

Daniel, 11 Aug 2020Exactly, what you think but others want quality not FHD esp... moreYeah. By that logic, you'd also prefer a sub-7 inches display with 8K UHD resolution, since bigger is always better. There's something called law of diminishing return.

Pro tech vloggers, like Marques Brownlee, even say that they prefer FHD+120Hz. FHD is perfectly fine for a sub-7 inches display.

Guys, Guys, don't go crazy on numbers on the paper. we still need to wait and see how the phone will fair out against other flagships! im gonna wait at least 6 months to see how it will perform on the long run especially to see the ULTRA fast charging side effects! by then the Samsung Galaxy S30 will be out! can't wait to see the how they fair against eachother!
                Cheers!

Must add, even in phones with IP68 certification, no manufacturer gives warranty on phones against water, they just say "the phone is resistant to water, but if you soak it in water it's your problem".

Hm, why not use the 108mp sensor? Maybe it's because there is no space to fit the 5x zoom?

A really ugly camera array with the cheezy shiny embellishments. The Mi Note 10 is still the best value in Xiaomi's line up. Once it gets closer to $1000, Samsung has a better package and Apple and Google are far ahead in computational photography.

ishreal, 11 Aug 2020I've been following smartphone tech for over a decade,... moreI see huge difference between iPhone 11, iPhone XS Max(&11 Pro), Note 10+ & OnePlus 8 Pro, LCD, OLED etc....HUGE HUGE difference in many areas. OnePlus 8 Pro with its huge screen almost beating the others in clarity, contrast, braightness, colour reproduction. FHD compared to QHD+ is indeed a big compromise if you have consistently used QHD+. Those using iPhone 11 will find FHD a HUGE jump of course. I was having iPhone 11 and had to ditch that towards 11 Pro Max because I got used to big screen QHD.

Xiaomi has never offered HDR video 10bit recording.

It is regular 8K SDR, but bitrate is higher than Samsung.
