It’s nice to see Apple offering OS upgrades for so many years. I was recently on iPadOS 14 beta on my 6 years old iPad Air 2 and I was surprised how well it performed. I particularly liked the blocker report that is now baked into Safari. It’s shocking but some websites launch even 30 or more Google trackers the very moment the side is loading, (not to mention how many from Facebook) but fortunately Safari blocked them all. Sadly I had to go back to the current OS because some of the apps I often use wouldn’t play well. But soon the official version will be released so nothing to worry about. The best times of my old iPad are still ahead.

They just became mainstream overnight, because Apple just decided to implement them. If you asked an Android user 2 years ago what widget he/she was using on his/her phone, they will ask, What's a widget?
So yeah, Android fanboys will magically dig up everything that Apple doesn't have but Android has and immediately make them like it some kind of ground braking phone technology. lol. pathetic.
I am pretty sure that Apple will remove them from IOS in 2 years time, because nobody will use them or find them really game changing.

... moreDepends how you look at it. You are comparing whole Android system with just one company.
In Czech Republic (probably in other Europe countries) the top phone players are: Samsung, Huawei, Apple and Xiaomi. This count for about 86% of the total phone market in here. But if you compare each company, all are around 20-25% market share. So, the difference is not that big as you describe it.
Imagine if each of this companies will have its own operating system. Then your beloved data will not be the same.
Stop trying to make Android look better just by seeing what you want to see.

4.7 inches displa... moreTBH I would gladly buy for example Sony Compact 4,7", with Snapdragon 865/865+, headphone jack and at least two snappers (wide and ultrawide).
I do not use my phone for gaming or all day surfing - I use my phone for telefohony, messaging, music and taking pictures/videos + light work.
I own tablet for "bigger" stuff ;) I like my personal device to be as small as possible so it does not bother me to take it everywhere.
iPhone SE is sadly huge thx to gigantic bezels (same as Xperia 5 6,1") and it's so heavy ... that glass on the back is certainly not doing the SE 2020 any favours.
