But whats up with those huge bezels at top and... more1. Top and bottom bezels are where the hinges are. The hinges fold 360° and also have wires that carry power and data between multiple units.
2. The Surface Duo when unfolded is like an 8.1" tablet in 3:2 aspect ration, which is much wider than a phone. A phone you can hold by the sides, but you need bezels to hold a tablet.

i see a lot of people complaining about the size of the bezels. have you ever tried to use a notebook / notes booklet like device, about 140-160mm wide / high, while holding it in your hand and trying to type or use a stylus yet not accidentally touching the active surface? you will always need to pinch the one side (note books..) or the top side (notes) in order to keep it steady in position. productivity tool (ms NEVER said this is a smartphone...) has to look at least acceptable but functionality will always have priority

Their dual screen concept may be revolutionary or interesting at least, but for most of people its just piece of junk hw with software made to use 2 screens for multitasking, while its nothing new on android. You basically just pay for sw, overprice at new lvl.

Don't underestimate the 855 and definitely not the 855+ Those processors are more than adequate for pretty much everything. Especially for those in office. In fact it's overkill for an office clerk or an executive.
