Thr problem with wireless charging is that you can’t really charge your phone and USE IT, at the same time. So, there are still advantages to cable charging. Thankfully, with increased wireless charging speeds, you don’t have to spend as much time not using the phone. On the other hand, wired charging wins again, because it’s even faster. Another problem with wireless charging is that the coil mesh makes the phones thicker. And, since OEMs will start using mutiple layers of meshes, the thickness will probably continue to increase.
