Well my phone is march 2019. But I think its very unfair, I bought my phone from carphone warehouse. They must have known this was coming up and told me nothing. I don't keep up on phone news at all. I got this phone and contract on their advice. I'm now possibly stuck for another year with a phone that may not have the apps available I expected when I got it. I think I should be entitled to a free phone swap. I am very unhappy. I won't buy Huawei again nor will I deal with carphone. I will use ee direct. I traded my Samsung S7 for this. Really dischuffed if I'm honest. I'm sure it's been misold to me.

Huawei is only punished because they are years in the futher with there devolpments in processors for mobile (check the new 1000 series) and other stuff and America is 2 years behind.
See brands like Apple advertising with night mode that was new a few years ago. Also on mobile connection 3G and now 5G they are a year behind at least and what about wireless payment last year where every customer said it possible when I allready used my blackberry keyone for the last 3 years for wireless payment with my bank.
Als this bashing doesn't say Apple is bad but Huawei is the company with Xiaomi and Samsung devolping stuff and what happens if these companies are not allowed to stay in the present were US is clearly behind.

People need to realize that the ban has nothing to do with national security. People's data is for quite some time sold over and over again to foreign companies.
The only reason Huawei is banned is because it became too successful but it is not a US company.
For the US as a leading economy banning Huawei is good so they can suppress their competition but for the end users it's not good since we now can't pick the best device and just use everything seamlessly.
Right now we need a new software competitor open to every country so we can again start buying the hardware we want and use the software on top of it. A brand new uncensored seocial media, a brand new video sharing platform too.

The update is actually out, but the thing is, sometimes Huawei screws the update so it never reaches your phone.
try updating through Huawei's HISuite (Official) or HISuite Proxy (Unofficial)

Dolanescu, 20 Aug 2020forget about Huwaei... plenty of good phones around...No they are still good, do not need to get anything else unless you are GMS junkie like most of the people is... But if something else there is still plenty of China to pick from such as Oppo, Vivo, Realme, Oneplus, Xiaomi, Meizu & lesser known ones such as Doogee and Blackview! ;D

No idea why some regions dont get what they deserved but i am a happy huawei user here.

Right... And my P20 Pro security update is still stuck with April updates.... Don't give me the BS that P20 Pro support is over. Security updates should continue.
