This is for the Surface pro 6.
They've actually put in effort in designing the product correctly so that it wouldn't bend badly or crack which is why it passes the test.
Surface pro 7 should also pass the test.

      Little innovation (most copied from other OEMs), but at least they can deliver great quality items across the board which lasts long.

      Here are some exceptions-bad quality Apple products:

      -iPad Pro: bad structural rigidity
      -iPod: bendy, poor specs (cannot be used for carrier calls, a basic feature even cheaper smartphone has)
      -iPhone SE: mediocre battery and average screen
      -Old iPhones (6, 7, 8, X): subpar performance due to throttling, either limited features or not working properly
      -2019 and older MacBook Air: throttled, slow, but overpriced

      While Apple is still greedy, it's much better than it used to be so it deserves some credit. iOS is much better than it used to be, that's why I chose flagship Samsung over iPhone that time.

      Now look at Samsung which used to be the king of smartphones, now cheated customers with slow throttling Exynos and worse specs for higher price. Last good Samsung phone that I owned was the Note FE. Done now. At least they still make good displays.

      Samsung market share plunged a lot in 2020. A lot.

      Same thing that made Chinese OEMs grow quickly. They used to be copycats, but now they are inventors in the smartphone industry.

          The surface pro series did pass the bend test.

Physics are physics, if you do something big flat and thin, it will bend if you want. Again no issue in normal life and normal usage.

                  This was an issue on 2019 model. They could've used better quality materials and fixed the issue for the 2020 model. But they knew they could get away with it and Sheeeeeps would continue to buy them despite cheap build quality. I ain't no sheeeep, only premium quality products for me.

                      I am posting this from my iPad Pro 11 2020 and have not had any bending issues,my only issue has been finding the cases I want, they seem to be out of stock everywhere due to the popularity of this device, once again Apple have launched the best product in the segment. :)

                      $2trillion valuation well deserved.

                        And it doesn't bend easily, you just repeat something what you read from net years ago. I have Pro and it's not bend at all and you have to use force to bend it, but who does that? In normal usage you will be just fine. If the problem would be real sales wouldn't be anywhere where they are now.

                                I'd rather prefer a new key in that place which can be used for camera or other customization.

I think they are the only Chinese phone brand that I will ever buy. But also, because their business model resembles that of Apple. Few models each year, long software updates, nearly stock Android. They are a special and only case. In some ways they are better even than Google Pixel phones.
                                  But, I was talking about the other ones, like Xiaomi, Realme, even Huawei nowadays is not what it used to be on the days of P8, P9 or P10. And not necessarily because of the US ban. All of them have the business model, "flood the market with as many products possible and people will buy one of them eventually". Sadly, Samsung is doing this nowadays too. But at least, their UI is better and bloatware free.
