It isn't as straightforward and easy to use as Android.

I've had iPads... Air, Air 2 & iPhone 8, 11 pro and switched between Android for years.
Definitely not the "stable" system or the best user experience.
And the updates are pure comedy. Outdated at best.

Best Android experience software wise is available on OnePlus, A Chinese brand.
Keep hating them, Chinese manufacturers have already taken over LG, HTC, Sony and Samsung coz they are simply better and innovating in ways other manufacturers failed to.

Chinese phones breaking down in 6 months - 1 year? What is the basis of such ignorant statements? Ever used any Chinese flagships or are you stuck with 50$ smartphones?
Even 200 dollar phones don't breakdown that fast.

SizN80, 20 Aug 2020This is very typical of android low end phones, what is sad ... moreExactly, that is why true phone companies like Nokia, HTC, Sony or Motorola are struggling right now on smartphone segment. Because this Chinese so called "great devices" have flooded the market with their cheap offerings. And sadly, in the majority of times, the end experience is really bad. People are ok with them, just because they pay few money and can see there on spec sheet SD765 for 250EUR or something like that. They don't think about more important aspects of a smartphone. Like software experience, or more importantly the correlation between software and hardware, which for Chinese phones is non-existent after 6 month-1 year.

iOS Succckkks, 20 Aug 2020Lol S20 ultra is 1600 Euros? In which country? Czech Republic. But, as I said, prices are going down rapidly for Android flagship, especially Samsung. This were the initial prices.
You can find in here an almost new S20 Ultra (something like 21 months warranty) with as little as 1200EUR now. Also, because the Note 20 series is out now.
The iphone 11 Pro Max price is still the same like last year.
That is why Android flagship are a "no go", especially immediately after they launch. But then again, if you wait 6 months, then will be not worth it, because of software things. So yeah, big lol.

[deleted post]As I said in my comment, Apple haters have the biggest mouths and talk without thinking.
I am actually a long time Android user (not hated Apple before, just didn't found their products appealing). And my current iphone SE is just 3 months old. I bough it cheap and second hand, because I didn't know what to expect from IOS. If I didn't like it or didn't know how to work with it, I didn't want to be disappointed that I pay too much for it.
But, funny thing, I have a colleague of mine with iphone 11 Pro. Talking solely about software experience, is the same thing, between the iphone 11 Pro and my 4 years old iphone SE. Both of them are on the same software, scrolling through menus, web browsing, opening closing apps, everything is smooth and lag free on both of them. Can you see something like that on Android, between a 200EUR phone and a 1000EUR phone? NEVER.
That is the problem with Android phones, if you want the best experience and lag free, you automatically need a flagship device. You need to swallow your pride, make a lot of compromises and have tons of patience, when you get a mid-range or low-end Android phone.

It's laughable to see someone using a overpriced phone with inferior user experience thinking it's premium. I know that coz I used to be that guy.

Just because you are d enough to buy an 4 years old iphone with 200$, it does not mean it's guts (besides battery that i asume it's pretty much dead) are at the same level as samsung. Your comparisons are childish to say the least.

Android flagship phones specs gets better and better every year, yet the sales are down every year. Should ring a bell. Anonymous, 20 Aug 2020More like inferior but overpriced stuffGive average people 1000EUR phones that end up being bad or unusable. Yeah, maybe the first year they will buy them (just because of marketing or brand image), some even the second year (like some blind fans). But, do you think that anybody will still buy them in the third year or forth year? No, most certainly not.

I compared my current phone built quality, display, usability, etc. (the iphone SE 2016), with one of my previous phones (the Samsung A20e). Because both phones were the same price (around 200EUR). Well, let me put this way, there wasn't a comparison. The iphone is better at any category except battery life (because the iphone is a 4 year model with the original battery in it). Not to mention, that after 6 months the Samsung A20e was starting performing even worse in day to day usage, than when I bough it (like small lag and hick-ups each there).
