The Poco brand was cool before because you got a Pocophone and you had a Pocophone. The brand power is being diluted by overuse.

They should target the Nord size too. Xiaomi phones are way too big lately.

Anonymous, 20 Aug 2020Unpopular opinion: The Nord is extremely overrated and isn&... moreYeah it is... It goes without saying..
Nord is one of the most oberhyped phone. And it was such a disappointment personally to me. I was thinking to upgrade from my legendary POCO F1 but after watching 25k-30k market... I am waiting for XR to fall under 40k or will get a SE.

If it is rebranded K30 Ultra than please don't replace Dimensity 1000 with SD765G and what happened to SD768G?

Anonymous, 20 Aug 2020Atm some feature phone even have 3" screen.Yeah, a Jelly Phone... The thing is, there's "small" and there's "too small", plus the Jelly is basically just for calling, the specs are awful and camera is virtually useless, plus it's 1.6cm thick so it makes a bulge in your pocket.

I'd say the 4.7" found on iPhone SE2 is about a minimum for comfortable use, anything less makes typing a pain, especially for people with bigger hands. 5.2" is a perfect smartphone screen size, imo.

Why dont launch K30 Ultra globally? It is a true flagship killer.

So now Xiaomi basically is just waiting to see what OnePlus did, and then look at their existing plethora of Redmi phones, picked and rebadged one under Poco brand to attack whatever OnePlus did. Just reactive move. Aka, boring. This means the Poco brand is dead as there will be no real new stuff from Poco itself.

Anonymous, 20 Aug 2020Unpopular opinion: The Nord is extremely overrated and isn&... moreOnly US reviewers are going ga ga over Nord since they have no other alternatives.

Anonymous, 20 Aug 2020Make it compact and it will sell. Max 150mmPoco F2 Mini:
                        - 5.2" 120Hz OLED
                        - Snapdragon 765G
                        - 64MP main + 13 MP ultrawide, 12MP single selfie camera
                        - Plastic body (Pixel 4a style)
                        - 3400 mAh battery (smaller size, smaller battery)
                        - FM Radio, notification LED, SD card slot, headphone jack, NFC
                        - 299$ for the 6/128GB model, 349$ for 8/256GB

IF ONLY! But I doubt it, since it's meant to compete with OnePlus Nord, they're going to make it for the masses, aka some stupid 6.6" or bigger screen... Some Xiaomi representative hinted that we might be getting a smaller phone soon, but (imo) it's going to be part of the Redmi series (so e.g. 'Redmi Note 10 Mini')

Hoping that this rebranded K30 ultra will use the same chipset (Dimensity 1000) for their Global Version... thumbs up Xiaomi...

Probably a rebranded Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite (has 765G) but with 120Hz amoled screen, instead of the 60hz one.

We know that takeover of 5G in telecom scetor will take a while, but still to be future proof, we expect some mid range mobiles with SD765G/SD690 with OLEDs
