uk7866, 20 Aug 2020Still lame compared to CURRENTLY available processors eg SD865+It still should be cheaper. Maybe $650 at most

    Unfolded: 186.9 x 145.2 x 4.8 mm
    Folded: 145.2 x 93.3 x 9.9 mm

In this thing specs for size must have error. Folded 93.3mm while unfolded 145.2mm
Thats basically one side of the fold is 51.9mm and other side is 93.3mm while on the picture it looks that both sides of the fold is in same size

Though that idea goes out the window if M$ is using an earlier batch.

It has zero to do with "surface area" or Microsoft.

Those other 855 benchmarks were run over a year ago. Microsoft is now taking credit for a year's worth of updates to Android to sell this nonsense device?

Small battery and huge display = terrible combo.

As for the battery capacity, it's hard for me to comment on that since I see people still getting a long battery usage for nearly a day from a phone with lower than 3,000 mAh.

uk7866, 20 Aug 2020Still lame compared to CURRENTLY available processors eg SD865+Lol, the Surface Duo has been in development since 2019 and also finalized at the same year. So don't expect a very recent chipset at the very last minute.

Meh, benchmarks don't really matter. People care about camera quality, and the Surface Duo fails miserably in that department. A single 11 MP camera? Really bru? And the small battery - 3577mAh? DOA.
