Anonymous, 24 Aug 2020got. it called sapphire Actually isn't. Sapphire, while incredibly scratch resistant is actually very brittle and shatters relatively quickly. However for me personally, scratch resistance is of higher priority. I've scratched a lot of glass but never shattered any...

But iPhone cracks with beautiful pattern

And all scratches are highly secure

Yes, the iPhone uses older Gorilla Glass 6, but it's just an extremely bulky device to start with, considering the small surface area. Weight distribution is not so optimal. Samsung handsets have been known to be lighter than most of its competitors.

There's a Note 20 Ultra drop test been already done before the video in this article, and in that the phone display cracked in the first drop, face down, from just a three feet height

Just think if Corning sold it has tempered glass so it becomes widely available even for those phones which lacks any advance protection

Finally a phone you use without covers and crappy tempered glass

Can't wait the day we invent glass like materials that can't be scratched or shattered at all.
I love glass, it's such a nice material, but being fragile or scratchable is quite annoying.

At last good to see some improvement in durability of these phones. Wish to see new devices also with new battery tech, heard graphene batteries have much more potential than the lithium onse.

Good job corning. But why call it GG Victus instead of GG 7?

Too strong or heavy concentration on edges(with SS frame) can make the iPhones susceptible for damages while evenly balanced weight in Note 20 allows the impact to be absorbed evenly.

                              equally impressed as well
time of broken glass is coming to an end
I hope other glass manufacturers take this a standard
