All devices with Super Amoled Plus display are susceptible to this problem.
It seems chronic especially when viewing a gray image with the screen brightness at low levels.
And Samsung? Nothing!

Great Job Samsung! Should make green tint display as a hidden feature. "Samsung isnt alone facing this issue, as apple and xiaomi face it too". Yeah right because Shamesung made their screen! Duh!

I have smash to the ground of the garbage called Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus. I did made a various complaints to Samsung but they are not helping. Poor Customer Service.
This green tint problem is a horror, when you make a phone call or having incoming call, your display will turn into dark and after that going to be green all the times even after proceeding with temporary solutions by adjusting the setting of the display brightness into the highest.
The battery drain is unbearable. I am afraid to buy a phone from Samsung again unless they resolve this long overstanding issue once and for all.
Thanks to gsmarena for helping us a lot with this news.

Maybe you need to research more.

Ok. Some people get a tint. It stinks but also should be able to be fixed and could be linked to a new emerging standard. No biggie.
Overall it's the best display out there. With some healthy brightness and accuracy gains and leads.

Samsung has a... moreAnd samsung was the first to numerous camera standards as well. And well up until recent years... even before android... Samsung sensors and devices held a lead over Sony. And even with that not so much the case samsungs still typically has better lenses and processing doing better than Sony with their own sensor.... that aspect being the case for many.
