A7sii, 26 Aug 2020Ions better than new LG phones that are out! I would rather buy a Chinese branded phone (like Xiaomi, Realme or Oppo), than LG or Sony in 2020. And I don't even like so much Chinese phones.
LG and Sony should close the mobile division and concentrate on things that they do really good (displays, TV's, cameras, consoles, headphones, etc.). They do not have any profit from this division anyway.

I really hope the 8Mp is a depth sensor, so we get closer to the 12Mp and above 3D ToF/LiDAR that will finally enabled incredible things, like advanced subject and object detection, refocusing post shot, added data for retouching, near perfect focus, numerically change the depth effect caused by focal length for a portrait shot, and much more !
With a good software/AI, high resolution depth sensor can do miracles !

Definitely not the overpriced garbage I was expecting. Seriously after the Pixel 4a for $350 how can Sony expect to sell Xperia 10ii and Xperia 8 Lite at all.
My Xperia XZ is falling apart and I am desperately waiting for the Xperia 5 mark II to launch to see if it's worth the wait. Otherwise I will sadly turn to Google / OnePlus or another brand after 8 years of Xperias.

Long time my friend have sony phone got defect in earphone 3.5mm jack then go to sony service center for repair they said it will cost Rs.5000/- cost of phone is Rs.9000/-. My sony laptop got problem in harddisk then go for repair the sony servive center dnt know how to repair it my laptop stuck 1 month in their service center after that they charge me Rs.1000/- but the pc is not repaired. Sent it to other repair shop they repair it in just within 2hr. Since that day sony announce its retirement from going international😂😂😂.

Hmm it is a little dated chip, but thus lower cost. For everythig this phone should be enough, maybe it is not intended for majority of ppl and not using conventional low tier chipset it is a bold move.
