I hope that samsung re use sd variant because it improves not just gaming but everything the soc, is ISP DSP MODEM, CPU GPU AND IT INTERFER WITH EVERYTHING

Samsung now is not samsung from before they are the greediest company in the world, and playing dirty games, forcing people to buy a phone with crap component because MOST OF PEOPLE DON'T KNOW THAT THEY ARE USING AN INFERIOR PRODUCT IN EVERYTHING WITH A LAAAAARGE MARGIN, samsung was innovative, It was one of the best company but now it is not, and that's really shameful and unfortunate, I hope they change this CEO soon, can someone tell me what samsung innovated in these 2 years while xiaomi and vivo, zte innovated so much, from transparent display, wrap around display, 120w, first graphene based lithuim-ion battery, under display cam(ZTE)
And samsung nothing, they have what chinese companies don't, they have a lot of ressources because they are big company, apple also has it has so much but they don't, they want to keep money in their pocket and not invest in creating something new, As I said That's very unfortunate samsung now is becoming or no they are not becoming they are worse than apple, atleast apple don't give devices with defected soc they don't differentiate between customers, china is a big market so they give it the best, korea is their own market so they give it the best, and USA they give them sd because of milimetre wave or something in order to not loose customers and money money from those markets,
I USED to love samsung in the past and I used the s3 and s4 and samsung galaxy tab, but now once I used the mi 6 and mi 9 I say NO to compromises, + those suits me better
I HOPE SAMSUNG COME BACK TO THEIR MIND

AnonD-896879, 28 Aug 2020They are dumb if they but the note 20 even if they don'... morethe problem is not only that, they also use different type of cooling on different variants, i think the sd variant is the one that have the worse colling according to jerry rig everything note 20 ultra teardown, if you compare the score of the s20 ultra for example the sd variant it has 560k max or even less yes even less while the mi 10 ultra has 660k and the oppo find x2 pro has more than +600k
not to mention peole getting the scam exynos variant, the difference will be huge even if they try to kill the sd variant, for example the sd 865+ has the same or sometime 2 fps less than the sd 865 on the s20 ultra and much less compared to the competition, the exynosn990 is worse than g90t as chong liu shows us, honestly i don't know why samsung is doing this, killing the sd 865+ for some and using a midrange soc for some ( yes the exynos 990 scores more than g90t by a large margin but it throttle in a record time in 15min (3 antutu benchmarks) +100k , for 30min it will be double that or a bit less, + the exynos is the worse optimized soc for games from developpers

So, just to put things into perspective: the US pays the lowest price for Samsung handsets with the snapdragon SoC. The European union is paying more (in eur) for the Exynos version, because Scamsung loves to serve people a cold dish as gsmarena rightfully stated in their review. Now here's the kicker: the UK pays the highest price on the planet for Samsung handsets with Exynos chips, because the price is set in GBP and it "matches" the digits of the US and EU prices (but ends up being much more money when you do the exchange conversion). No wonder Samsung abuses the Exynos scam given how eager the UK is to show how much they love being taken advantage of.

It should be 600$ ( and even with 600$ it is worse than a 600$ mi 10 or a 280$ k30 ultra (I know it is china exclusive)
Maybe if they love one ui so much that they can pay anything or as I said loving the s-pen or something then they are not dumb (actually I won't call them dumb, just they don't have a big knowledge to choose the best phone in a segment) because the note is worse in its segement and the segment before it and before it..... And not considered a flagship if it doesn't have a flagship build or display or an soc that is better than a midrange like g90t or 765g

Under a layer of plastic, but there was still glass. Replacing the plastic substrate with glass was a huge improvement for the OLED itself.

As corporation samsung bet paif off . Anyone buying 1k+ flagship without passif cooling exynos plastic so on ... can pay even 2k for this trash. So next year we have to wait for next 2k usd plastic phone.

The base N20, yeah I'd agree it's not a good purchase. But what's wrong with buying a phone that has an exclusive feature you really like/need for work? The S-Pen is really good and I know it's very useful to me. No doubt others think so as well, seeing that this series has been going for 10 years now. Calling them all dumb is extremely short-sighted. As long as they can afford it and it's use case is more than just vanity, it's not dumb.
