Cant wait to get it in south africa, hopefully wont take as long as the ics 4.0.3 update. Atleast samsung is still updating the S2 unlike the long forgotten S1

I just found out about new 4.0.4 update:
Today the second firmware with Android 4.0.4 for the Galaxy SII has been released by Samsung officially.
This update is specially for Russia. Make sure you have the latest version of KIES or update your phone by using OTA. (Over the air)
from SAMMOBILE
So for the rest of us, we have to wait ( only if you waiting for official update )

shamim, 10 Jul 2012what is the total procedure to update ? please help me....Oh u will need to visit xda developers site to learn how to use " odin " to flash firmwares and u can download the firmware from there or at sammobile.com in firmware section ....just in case some version are wipe firmwares better to downgrade to GB ...then flash it to avoid brick bug

Anonymous, 10 Jul 2012Any news about Galaxy Note update?And the Note now plays second fiddle to an old device that has been superceded by the S3 over two months ago! I am far less than impressed to say the least, Now I also hear that Samsung will not confirm the Note is going to get Jellybean when it has almost identical memory and processing power ti the Nexus which was released almost the same week, late last year. Samsung certainly know how to piss off their customers in style.

dickydwigowtama, 10 Jul 2012What's different from android 4.0.3??So far wat i noticed :
*Removed brightness adjustment by sliding notication bar.
*modified broweser
*the phone dont use much power in deep sleep mode
While on 4.0.3 i used to lose 9-12% of battery over the night ...on 4.0.4 it only stand 2-4% lost throughout the night.
*They using differebt icones for power button menu.
*stock clock and alarm r slidely modified
That is all i noticed so far...

I have connected it but keys it said that this is the latest update even if my phone rolls 4.3.
Maybe it is not available in UK for the moment.
