Samsung Galaxy S II receiving the Android 4.0.4 update

I got an update. updated Kies and then I updated the Phone too. It took some 20 minutes + like 4.0.3. But when i check the version in the phone it still shows 4.0.3

Just checked Kies, I still don't have the new update. Hope I get it soon.

Samsung Galaxy Note, is getting the 4.04 ICS update too OTA (because Kies is a sh***, and is impossible to connect my phone with it).
Im in Costa Rica, Central America and yesterday night i installed. My phone is a German version and i think thats why i get the updates quickly, because i have ask to other people and they dont get it, same happens with Ics updates some months ago...:-)

There are still no available updates for ICS 4.0.3 if your Firmware Version is in a Country/Region of Saudi Arabia with a Baseband Version similar to this... i9100JPKJ2, updates are now available through Samsung Kies 4.0.3 i9100JPLPF...
If updates are still not available on Samsung Kies for your Country/Region, you can Flash Firmware Package that you can download on Sammobile and use ODIN3 to flash this package. Just make sure you have read the Flash Guide instruction also available for free download on Sammobile.

I hope they have included the new touchwiz UI,
because if upgrading t 4.0.4 is the same as before then I'd better not to upgrade. :D

Got this update today on my Samsung Galaxy note, over the air. seems a little snappier now. GT-N7000 model.

Good to know that Samsung has not forgotten its former flagship, The fact that they are still regularly providing new updates for the galaxy s2 means they are sincere about their consumers.

Guys,I have ICS 4.0.3 and i connect my device to Kies via usb Cable to download 4.0.4 but it shows " your device cannot update the firmware via Kies".my device model is GT-I9100 and i'm in kuwait .please, can any one advise what shall i do.Thanks

Still waiting for update in India for S2, samsung needs to work hard in not delaying updates & offering better after sales service in India. If it intends to maintain its No. 1 place.

all these news and updates are meant generally for USA. so rest of the world comes second for these companies. the update will comes, but it will take time...1month, 2 months or more only god and samsung knows :)
