Anyway, K30 ultra has not even one premium feature. Can't your brain get it??
Poor camera, Poor screen, Poor build quality, Poor battery life, No IPS rating. Not to mention those ugly ads in system UI. Why would anyone in right head who wants to buy a premium will look for these kind of cheap smartphones?? Just tell me why?? Don't waste my time.

First o... moredon't spread lies , the k30 ultra official price in china is 286 dollars search for it , if it cost more then that's because of the seller profit margin , on shenzen trading it cost 327 euro and the dimensity is better than 855 plus but a bit worse than the 865 wich is not bad because you will not notice the difference

Now I got XZ3 - I was waiting to switch from WhiteMagic (RGBW) to OLED. Sooo I change smaprthone after 7 years. That was huuuuge jump in performance. Like from Playstation 1 to PS4. Good hardware jump is after 5-6 years. Like 7sII -> 7sIII, or consoles.

A7sii, 31 Aug 2020Trolls and Haters aside, every phone company has reached it... moreagree... i used to argue to haters and trolls before when they complain about design, ui, battery as if other brands looks better or lasts longer... but when i started to read same statements from them like "sony is dead, bad design, bad battery" i know for certain that they are trolling... and i seldom respond to them now...
i must agree about features... sony brought a lot to the table, well some brands too... but unlike most brands, xperia seldom gets the "cake"... ip certification of all flagships since z series? side mounted fingerprint sensor? organic superslowmo?
most manufacturers are still shy to have 4k display, 21:9 aspect ratio (but quite there at 20:9)...
your lucky to have pre "z series" xperias, i am still financially dependent during the days of sony ericsson... though i am not a fan "only" of xperia, that is why it makes me laugh when others bash a certain brand, like sony because i feel like they do that because they cant get one... ha ha

Theres nothing much more companies can do to really bring a wow factor that will make a substantial difference from a model we got lets say 2 years and something that was released now. Even if it is so, there will be features that are unnecessary and some that certain people will find a gimmick. To answer your question I have had SEricsson T650i, C905, Xperia Neo, L1, Z3, Z5 and now i recently got an 1ii. Yes its expensive, and no im not a blind fan who just throws money around! To me, Sony phones have some unique features that no other phone company can implement and in my books thats an Instant buy!

Tell me what phone you see as competitive, if you say S20 or IPhone 12 then I have nothing to say to say to you because those are generic lack-luster and have nothing revolutionary. The 21:9 has a mixed bag of opinions BUT it is something different. So is having a 4K screen. Please elaborate on what you mean as competitive. Obviously Im not stupid i know its not 99.9% I said that to reply with the same tone of sarcasm he used! If you are intelligent enough you would have got that!

And yes, the fan base for Sony phones is smaller than it was before. Sony isn’t as competitive and so people (maybe not you) switch. Why else would Sony’s market share have become smaller?

kidding aside, just want to ask what is your most recent xperia...
i just got xz2 compact this month... ha ha...
but i already decided to get the 1 ii next month...
btw i also have miro, z1 compact, z3 and z5 premium... i guess i am one of the 0.01%... but lets accept the fact that there are few xperia users and not everyone upgrades every year, like me, i stopped upgrading since z5 premium since it doesnt feel old to me... but recently found an xz2 compact, i think i need to retire my first gen z1 compact...

And if you're implaying Xperia 5 II had to have large bezels because it had all these things mentioned... Well there you have Galaxy S20, with all these mentioned and more, with virtually zero bezels at all.
