Make all the cute excuses you want but the fact of the matter is that iPhone owns the premium segment and android exists solely as a low to mid end device. Nobody cares about android flagships when they cannot even break the 6.5million sales mark :’D
The Galaxy A51 is clearly the highest android users are willing to go in large numbers.

There is 100 models that have flagship specs from different brands that all are Android. There is only 3 models from IOS to compare the sold numbers with. It's logical that none of the Android phones get in the list if there are 100 different modes of them every half a year

Security patches are important and Android is regularly at varying frequencies applying across OEMs. Most of the major software upgrades especially in iOS linked to hardware (Touch ID, 3D Touch, Face ID, Stage lighting, LiDar, Dual SIM). In Android world to enjoy meaningful upgrades you need to buy new mobiles than mere software upgrades. In the desktop world people kept on using Windows 7, Windows 8 without upgrades for a decade ($1000 laptops). Mobile phones have become like PCs hence frequent upgrades or even any upgrades are not required for the most.

Amazing how BOTH the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max are in the top 10 and not a single android has made it in.Amazing how a $700 iPhone outsells sub $500 Android phones to, LOL! :’D

Seems like majority of Apple users buy a new device every year or 2 maybe 3 max because considering how many people are on earth and how many devices they sell a year and how many are on Android they are not keeping their phones for a long period of time.

You just use one phone for a year and buy new one that gets 1 year of updates and then buy new one 5 years in a row and have 5 years of updates with 4 new updates on hardware too for the same price as you get your 1 iphone. Best part about the 5th phone is that it be probably more featured and more powerful then you 5 year old iphone if it even last that long without battery change that cost like 30% of the phone price

Well it's really hard to dominate in Android market where al brands are on Android. Iphone is with IOS so it has no competition with IOS operation system running devices as it's only Apple. As there is no 3rd operation system that has only it's own series then it's hard to compare something.
But if there would be statistics of how much have samsung, LG, Sony, Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, Realme and so on brands sold total of there phones for H1 2020 and not just one single model but it's total lineup versus Apple then Apple would not be the first and most selling brand phones. And for some reason this 38M iphone 11 solld feels like sold to shops and not for users or even new users.
