prakesh69, 13 Jul 2012This is why Apple is losing to competitor like Android.. in... moreI agree. Apple is getting a little lame these days. Instead of really trying to win consumer's heart with their device. They basically sue anyone that out do them. This is not helping the industry as a whole but instead if is holding back technology from evolving just because they could not deliver. This is why I stop using iPhone as well and moved to other OS. A lot of article out there claiming that iPhone 5 announcement will make Samsung be ashame of their GS3. But honestly, before the device is even being officially annouinced, I feel ashame of them for what they are doing.

google do actually have pantent to google universal search on desktop.

the thing is apple added "mobile" , its broken system being exploited by apple to gain advance over it competitor that offer better products

                                Anyone remember Google's Desktop Search?
I think it's a discontinued prodcut, but back in the days where Win XP didn't had this so called "universal local search", like Win 7, this was quite handy. It could instantly search thru all of your local files even PDF/DOC documents.
                                Why didn't Google patent that?!
This just shows how Apple abuses the US patent system.
Only Apple can pull off a stunt where it sues the King-Of-Search Google for a search patent.
Guess nobody is safe from the Apple claws, yes, not even their minions.
                                Apple's genius patent maker 3000:
                                1. analyze an existing patent
                                2. stick "for a mobile handheld device" to it
                                3. profit !!!

If you read this post and think that nothing is wrong and that poor Apple just protects their "innovative" patents then I would say that Apple's RDF is stronger than ever. :D

If Paris Hilton can patent or trademark (Whichever it is she appliead for) the phrase "that's hot," then clearly there's something wrong with the intelletual property system. Apple's gotten away with patenting the shape of a laptop. I'm pretty sure they will patent everything they can get their hands on because they know they can get away with it.

this is reason why people now moving to android..we in India now see that Apple is tyrant and try to monopoly everything... they can not compete with android phone anymore so they take everyone to court..soon maybe we can not pray to apple fruit here in india or Apple sue us and we end in jail
