If anyone is going to buy a smartphone under 20k like me then this will be the best phone to look forward to. Don't waste your Valuable money by buying a 4g device if u don't want to buy a new phone in next 1-2 years. This phone will be a blockbuster if it provide these features
1. Amoled display instead of IPSLCD
2. At least 5000 mah battery with 33W or more fast charging as realme latest 7 pro has 65W fast charging but only a 4g processor.
3. Snapdragon 765g processor instead of mediatek 820 although mediatek 820 has higher benchmarks than SD765G but I don't trust any mediatek processor honestly.

Should I buy another 4G phone if 1)5G phones are better priced than similarly spec'ed 4G phones; 2)5G phones are better spec'ed than similarly priced 4G phones; and 3)5G phones can function as "better" 4G phones?

The primary significance of this development is the availability of 5G to all Redmi's low priced phones: Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi 10, and Redmi 10A. Xiaomi is preparing the market for a 100% 5G smartphone take-over for those countries that are fast moving towards a post-4G world. The availability of low priced 5G phones, ($100 5G phones in October, $70 5G phones in December, $50 5G phone in Q1 of 2021), preemptively removes the need for any future 4G phones for budget-conscious buyers in a post-4G market..
The Redmi Note 10 Series will most likely be 5G only. Can anyone imagine a 4G version that will be significantly different from the phones already in Xiaomi's legacy 4G lineup?

The biggest market for Xiaomi is still China where there is already a wide spread of 5G network. Yes, soon you won't be able to buy a 4G phone.

If that is really the design, it has one ugly rear camera design. Wouldn't they integrate the cameras into the circular opening? It looks like they designed the circular opening then stuck a random camera module in it.

You think iPhone gets "crushed"? No, maybe slightly beaten, but iPhones beat the poco in other scenarios.
Snapdragon 865 was released like half a year later, too.
