I am an S3 user which i use mainly for work and i was planning to get a Lumia 900 for my personal mobile but after reading massive negative comments and the fact that the OS is not upgradable to Windows 8 just prevented me from doing so. I might just get another S3, this time the pebble blue.

it should be free with a 3 month contract.. otherwise it doesn't make any sense.

I am sure Windows Phone 8 will slow down Android. It has fast OTA software updates for all phones that Android can't even do in a million of year. WP8 requires a built-in hardware security chip with BitLocker encryption and Secure Boot for businesses. The perfomance on Windows Phone 8 with NT kernel will blow away Android. Windows Phone 7.5 running on Windows CE kernel is already crazy fast and no lag. Windows Phone 8 with Windows NT kernel is even faster than Windows CE kernel on WP7.5. WP8 already supports processor up to 64 cores for future proof. Next year you might see a next-generation Xbox with Windows NT kernel for porting games/apps between desktop, laptop, tablet, console and phones easily. Crazy games will come to WP8 because of native codes and DirectX support. Microsoft will have an ecosystem that is hard to beat. Apple could compete if they brought all their desktop, tablet, and phones together. Google doesn't have Windows and a console like Xbox.

wp7.8 is just cosmetic upgrade. they should be giving away free lumia 900 instead of a price cut!

Lumia 900 with the dead WP7.5 is still too expensive!
Why do GSMArena call the S3 backpanel "plastic" even though it actually is "polycarbonate", why not call Nokia Lumia, and N9, "plastic" as GSMArena do with Samsungs S3?

Indeed the buyer who brought it weeks ago is cheated .
The sales of lumia were surely terrible after the wp8 news . They have no choice but lowered the price tag .

Lumia 900 is still top rated phone. Windows Phone 8 should dominate that list just like WP7.5 are doing.

They should give you a free xbox360 and the phone should cost 1 penny. This way maybe, just maybe people will buy some Lumias.
