There are many people who just have zero knowledge about anything...!

      1) Samsung Semiconductors and Samsung Mobile are both separate companies...!

      2) Samsung manufacturing Snapdragon chipsets doesn't mean they will use it in their smartphones all over the world...Exynos will always be there...!

      3) Samsung Semiconductor has been making many Snapdragon chipsets like 665, 675, 710, 712, 720G, 730G and even the latest 765G 5G...have you ever seen any Samsung phone using any of these chipsets...? No right...? They just launched a 1st Samsung phone using Snapdragon 730G (Galaxy M51) this month...!

      4) Samsung Semiconductor cannot degrade or temper with the performance of Snapdragon to match their Exynos...because if the chipsets aren't made to Qualcomm's standards, they have rights to cancel the deal...which Samsung Semiconductor won't let that happen because they can incur loss...or worse Qualcomm can file lawsuits against them for doing such things...!

        So funny !
It's not the Samsung mobile who designs the Exynos SoCs,
It's Samsung's system LSI division under Samsung Semiconductor division.
Memory, Sytem LSI, Foundry all are under Semiconductor division.

That guy was at least close. You're nowhere near close. Mobile division is completely different one.

YUKI93, 14 Sep 2020Isn't the Dimensity 1000 chipsets are their flagship SoC?yes but mediatek diamond 1000+ announced on November 26, 2019.

so I don't expect them to make an announcement until to the end of november 2020.

if they release their so called 1020+ chipsets with 5 nm litography, then I guess it will be half price of snapdragon 865+ chipset.

I don't expect mediatek release their new gen chipset with beating s875 in terms of performance.

LG Superfan, 14 Sep 2020When will Mediatek make a flagship SoC? Isn't the Dimensity 1000 chipsets are their flagship SoC?

First of all S20 ultra is not a good choice.
And most importantly a phone of that price without warranty is definitely a bad idea.

TSMC's 5nm node is actually better. I think Samsung is offering better value to Qualcomm.
                  That's it.

The looser here is tsmc. They ended the relationship with Huawei and now is loosing Qualcomm best chips.

This will end in a failure for Qualcomm.
