Innovation. I like where LG is going. It's sad it took going downhill for real until they realized they needed to launch more than just some screen with hardware on the back.
It's finally happening and I hope they are major sales hits.

lg... slowly please... you are disturbing the industry so much... at least wait for them to adapt... 😂

This is the true meaning of innovation, i dont know what the hell apple talking about innovation

I wonder what LG has in mind with the slide-out display. Is it an ode to the old V10 and V20?

LG be like: our customers, let's make mobile designs fun again

                Lg: Life's Good

LG Superfan, 15 Sep 2020Isn't this a good thing? It definitely is

Davy Jones, 15 Sep 2020LG and Sony are the only one doing the things differently 😀Sony's the only one to still not adopt punch hole, dot notch display designs or pop-up camera, cheap gradient finishes or other fancy or, gimmick features that don't offer significant benefits or improve the user experience. They keep things clean and simple and that's the beauty of it, while providing actually useful tech and features in their phones such as dedicated two stage camera shutter key, which still exists on their phones, waterproofing that was one of the first in the industry, shatterproof glass, colourful light bar for notifications etc. For a long time, Sony's camera and audio were considered the best and when they 'innovated', it was something really functional i.e the Xperia Play with gaming buttons, was really cool for its time, and the Xperia ZL was actually far early to have a 75% screen to body ratio, or the M4 Aqua that introduced IP68 in mid range segment, and the compact lineup that were the only android phones to offer flagship specs in a smaller body, less than 130 mm tall. Always liked Sony phones, they're elegant and beautiful

Would be cool if it slides from the side and act as LG DS case does and there would be hinge so when it's completely slid out you can fold it like Surface Duo

Cool already loving this Explorer Project thing

While this might turn a few eyebrows. It will have little to no sales. No one wants to be the first guinea pig.

It's just to prove a point for LG.. its still innovating.

LG and Sony are the only one doing the things differently 😀

Anonymous, 15 Sep 2020What's the point of this?It may be cheaper to make than to make a fold style device, so you will have a smartphone and a Tablet in your pocket, this is the point.
