As a current owner of this bad boy, I strongly recommend this device. Trust me everything about this phone is just awesome and there's not really anything to complain about. Non expendable memory is NO problem. This phone don't lag and don't (actly never) hang to the point you need to take out the battery. And if you need extra battery juice you can just go get those 5000+mah external pack whatever, it gets lot more juice compared with a second or third battery.
I'm not sorry if some of you don't agree with me because this is just my personal opinion.

But the overall value is not just about processor, it is also about design and how good is the phone built. Xperia S is the perfect combination on performance and beauty, while SGSIII is made for them who only cares about processor, just like buy powerfull engine car but in ugly appearance.

aside from galaxy note Samsung design is a mess ,the curvy look is so cheap even in their galaxy s3.I think in all smartphone in the past 5 years no one beat the elegant design of Xperia arc s . who's with me?

Iphone4s and galaxy s2 facing a same faith.. And how their overcome the issue? Free screen replacement like sony did? No.. Their just release a statement the yellow tint will veporize in time.. Xperia S for $559.99? That's not far from iphone4s 16gb, more expensive than One X. Xperia P for $479.99? That's expensive than Galaxy S2.
DO NOT WANT SONY.
This is why Galaxy S2 is still selling like a hot cake. Practically useful, last longer, bang for money and yes still the performance winner!(comparing to Xperia S)

Sony was already a established company even before steve jobs learned abc, and samsung was still struggling until the learned how to copy things up, xperia phones are way better in design and durability compared to the generic look of todays phones, did you really tried to use Xperia phones?? or you just pretending to be?? Go troll in Meizu or or HTC page cause here we love Sony Products and we will support it cause we know what phone was the best..

Sony (Ericsson) has problem with quality.
that's why their losing market share.
yet their fanboys still praise them like a cult.
the reason for the bad quality is because they don't manufacture their phone, they use OEM, it means they outsource the phones to other manufacturers.
i myself had two Sony Ericsson phones years ago,
and both phone didn't last long.
that's why i won't buy another Sony (Ericsson) phones.

I had Samsung before and it was a regret. after a year of use the display started to get haywire. Then my sister bought me a Galaxy SI, at first I thought it was a great sort. But after few months it started rebooting itself with just playing youtube in it, so I got it sold with a friend. I had an Xperia Arc S, that worked really fine. I got that slipped-off my hand coz I was holding too much things and I admit that was my fault, still seems nothing happened at all. Then another instance I was playing music on it, in my need to pull it out from my pocket which was too tight it got thrown out to ground, hey what I relieved. Then Sony Xperia S came out, I'm so jealous about it wih the name and design all that. Thats when I got my Arc S sold, sad. I took this new Sony Xperia S, my friends and officemates are now the one jealous about it. With its performance, design, market price it best mobile choice I would say. The interface is user friendly, support like OTA are great. My friend who has an SIII said his phone still freezes up sometimes knowing that it jas a quadcore CPU. It made me relieve more knowing that I only have a dualcore phone and its perfectly working. Any I already poked it on the my working table and I am afraid, that's how clumsy I am. Anyway, I was a Samsung User (plainly a user) but I am definitely a Sony fan and lover. I'm missing alot my Xperia Arc S and so enjoying my Xperia S. :D

may be you can see me crazy about sony or something
the first Sony mobile was the P-1000
then Xperia - X1 & X2 together
then Xperia X10
then Xperia Arc-S
then finally the new Xperia - S
and every time i buy a Sony i got attached to this brand more
hints:
a)every mobile phone of those still works perfectly as day - 1
b)Sony external design of old models as X2 for example or even the X10 & arc still looks great comparable to Samsung
c)build quality is honestly the best in mobile world
