Entire iPhone 12 lineup will miss out on 120Hz displays, says Ming-chi Kuo

15 September 2020
Apple will start using high refresh rate displays on its phones next year, though, claims the analyst. The 5.4" iPhone 12s will have narrower notches.

For example, there is S10e or Pixel 4A, that's smaller, as you said but that's still 5.8 inches and not something that can be considered truly compact. And the V60 is indeed a remarkable phone, just like it's predecessors

Anonymous, 15 Sep 2020How do you even compare something that is only made for IOS... moreAnd yet, you're doing it AGAIN despite me repeating the main point like a retarded parrot. SOFTWARE matters and Apple devices combine software and hardware on a very different level. I don't care how it compares. The fact iPhones can run 4x less RAM and still deliver buttery smooth experience that's all snappy and instant is telling me everything that I need to know. But Apple haters don't understand this and will yet again go on raving how much RAM their stupid phone has and they'll make sure not to forget to mention how many hertz their display has. My 60Hz "720p" LCD display iPhone XR is so smooth I literally don't need more coz it wouldn't enhance my experience, it would just drain battery. And yeah, I know what's fast refresh display. Had and still have144Hz monitor before any of mobile plebs even knew what high refresh rate even is. So, yeah, spare me the the "details". And no, it's not "3 years" coz Apple, only time it was slightly shorter was when they changed to 64bit CPU's. The rest is a reliable track record of 5 years of software updates. Where with Android, you're lucky if you ever get 3. Rave about Android all you want, I've been with it since Eiclar and ended with Pie. And for the time, I'm done with Android because of many factors, namely Google and crappy long term software support. Android as such is fine, but not in state it's currently being delivered and maintained.

Though it does suck that the lg v60 only has one behemoth option. It's one of the only capable options of current gens that supports gsm, cdma, has 3.5mm... and only brand with quad dac to back it, oled, s875 and 5g.

Likewise its a shame there is not a plus model of the se.

If bionic would run android and then the benchmark on android then we can compare them with snapdragon or mediatek. Or other way around. But we cant so there is no fair ground. SD and MTK are made to run any android version with skins and with any form of hardware. While bionic is specifically made for few hardware specs and thats it.

It's just so dumb to say that ohh bionic is better while you cant proof it's better. It's only better running on IOS. How would it run on android it would be a different story so would be nice if people stop comparing things that cant be compared without even grounds
