iOS Never Again, 18 Sep 2020I've read your posts in this thread. A recurring que... moreBecause they don't usually make an article dedicated for those kinds of scandals and rather focus on delivering reviews.

Why didn't they make a separate article about the class action lawsuit against Galaxy S4's benchmark fraud?
Where were they when Mate 20 Pro suffered from Gluegate which caused thousands of owners to have Huawei replace the display and made them ultimately ditch one of the display supplier for it?
What were they doing about Pixel's never-ending bugs and hardware defects across multiple generations, including the OG Pixel's faulty microphone issues that cost Google 7.25 million USD payment as a result?
What happened to Nexus 6P & 5X cracked motherboard issues, weren't they supposed to talk about that as well?

"Website A doesn't report news B so A is biased" is clearly a flawed argument and you're already wrong with your initial statement, as you seem not to acknowledge bunch of other examples that I listed above and are only focusing on Apple's battery problem. The same goes for "Website A doesn't praise the device B so A is biased" argument. Next please.

iOS Never Again, 18 Sep 2020"how accurately the average human opens an app" ... more"And does the phone open the app on autopilot"
For this entire time have you been believing that's not the case? Like what, a human is manipulating the arm movement for every single test that they do using a controller? No ****, of course everything is automated. The robot is programmed to move its arm at constant speed and tap the specific point as each task is completed/the display contents are refreshed in a certain way, so the test is fully automatic with no human intervention. If that wasn't the case then what would be the point of using the robot in the first place? Use your freaking common sense.

        "doing those tests multiple times"
        PhoneBuff does it as well.

        "disabling animations for fair comparison"
So at that point those are already not a test that demonstrates the "real life" performance.

"calling it a draw when opening time is too close"
And how does it ever make their tests more accurate?

Finally you keep ignoring the fact that PhoneBuff also measures the opening times for individual apps as well, and list every one of them in a bar graph in the end. The trend is that Android phones may take a lead in lighter apps but ultimately start to struggle in heavier load. That have been the pattern for a last few years. No matter how much faster you can move your fingers than their already fast robotic arm, in the end you will have to wait longer for the heavy apps to load on Android phones because that's how it is.

Oh, in case you forgot, ROG Phone III (Lv3) means it's running on highest performance mode with AeroCooler (External fan) attatched. Meanwhile iPhone 11 series ran those benchmarks without having a single heatpipe. How about that?

As for SQ1; come back here when Surface Pro X becomes capable of running games or at least graphics benchmarks without running into compatibility issues. Your teraflop figures mean absolutely nothing if it cannot run those apps let alone scoring higher than A12Z in actual tests.

And i wont be using fast charge everyday anyway. I see the latest 125w degrades to 80 but its still not too bad imo. Thats still more than 2 years to 80%.

A recurring question by this anonymous guy hasn't been answered.
Why isn't there a single article on Apple cheating customers with batterygate scandal? Yet it is available on All other tech sites?
Why don't you have an explanation for that? Don't skip this question as I checked their site too and did not find an article on batterygate.

I know the answer to that which is why nobody trusts Anandtech as they keep covering for Apple's shortcomings.
And this has been going on for a long time. I remember back in the day when Note 4 was reviewed. CNET, Anandtech were the only ones giving it a lackluster reviewer over 40 tech websites which gave it a total thumbs up. They couldn't handle the fact that their iPhone competitor had totally destroyed the iPhone that year.

There, that's your misconception. Humans don't open the app, the phone does"

                                  >>> And does the phone open the app on autopilot or some ghost does it for you? a human touches the app icon or whatever and opens it. Lol you are digging a bigger grave for yourself with such irrational arguments.

All other tech Youtubers who do speed tests take utmost care to minimize input delays by doing those tests multiple times, disabling animations for fair comparison, calling it a draw when opening time is too close, etc.

2-3 apps opened with that robotic arm is equivalent to a person opening 5 apps in the same time frame in real life. This is why the phone buff speed tests are not an accurate representation of real world speed tests which are done with your hands as phones like Apple and Galaxy s20 get more time to catchup whereas in other speed tests they don't get time to catchup eventually lagging behind.
In all other tests the legion phone, Xperia 1 II, Poco F2 pro and others are destroying iPhone in speed tests. I'll trust the rest of the YouTube world over phone buffs robotic gimmick.
