rolf1, 17 Jul 2012After using the Nokia Lumia 800 for 6 months I've given up ... moreI guess you're one of those guys that likes to be lied to. Just because Apple give you iOS 6 on a 3GS does that also mean you get Siri for example? NO!!! What Microsoft did was saying you'll get a subset of the full WP 8 OS called 7.8 and for which NO ONE (yes I'll say it NO ONE) has a clear idea of what features you'll be getting besides the renewed Start screen (and they have said there are more features for 7.8 and 8.0 which haven't been announced yet). So your 5 years working in the mobile industry doesn't amount to jack when it comes to passing on suggestions for purchasing a new phone...

If you ask all my colleagues and customers who actually cares about screenshots and requires them as an essential feature, the answer would be a resounding NO-ONE.

My HTC Desire HD Phone with 1GHz processor and 716MB RAM will soon be upgraded to ICS...
Yes not all Android phones will get an ICS upgrade but Remember, Windows Phone Specification is not low and it is not even a midrange smartphone... All the Highend Android Phones will be upgraded to ICS...

my advice to Nokia, 18 Jul 2012Nokia still can survive if they abandon windows phone and l... moreAs a windows 7.0 and ANdroid 4.0 user i have all rights to say.
Both from techy geek prespective and End User Prespective WIndows Phone will win the war
Reason stong mail client and now mass storage is included and beyond that it build NT kernal. So security is going to be par-excellent. All enterprise would prefer WIndows Phone rather prefer android or IOS. Coz Microsoft is always strong on enterprise collaboration
End user P respective The Windows Phone 7.0 OS is much responsive than the latest ANdroid 4.0 I experienced. No hang and especially i noticed Playing games in Windows Phone is great but Android sucks and beyond that WIndows phone 7.5/ 7.8 still a immature OS and Once WIndows Phone 8 Comes Surely it gonna rule Mobile market

To those who think Windows Phone 8 will defeat Android and iOS, face the truth guys... MS has the worst Customer Support and Marketing Strategies! They still think their empire will last forever...

Since when did USB on the go is same as USB mass storage? Sure Android has USB mass storage (which can turn your phone to an emergency flashdisk if you want). But you CAN'T attach mouse, keyboard, flashdisk, or any USB based peripherals to it. AFAIK, only Symbian can (for mobile OS that is).

AnonD-24171, 17 Jul 2012That's funny because you are a lousy liar like most of Noki... moreJust before starting to comment .. m not any fanboy ..for me a good phone more than enough .. no matter which os it is.
1. S3 has better battery ... use it and then let me know on that ...i dont believe in specs. All LTE devices suck at battery no matter who makes it .. nokia, samsung, lg, sony .. everyone.
2. A youtube video ...seriously ?????? how old r u man ..12 ? ... in a demo video all phones work fantastic .. its when u start using them u see the true phone. as far as comparison is concerned, compare proper devices and yes ... mid range and low end android devices lag like shit and shutting down sometime unexpectedly ... only high end droids work really smooth. Its not same with windows phone.
3. 15 minutes of HD game and phone heats up ... how good and useful is that ? Nokia phones are not cheap .. atleast they do not copy designs like samsung
