... moreFor me, having 3.5 mm Jack is the top most priority. I also have plenty of wired earphones and even my $5 earphone will sound much better than $150 Bluetooth earbuds. I am ready to bet on them with anyone :)
2nd thing is weight. I would prefer weight around 160 grams and not 190-200+. Even 180 is very high.
It needs not to be very think but should not be too thick. I guess phone companies can manage things very well within 8mm thickness.
Price - Yes. I also don't want to spend $1500 (all in AUD) on some so called flagship phones. While $500 may not be possible (I know that the phone may not cost them even $100), $700 or around is not bad. But $800-850 or above is costly or on the higher side for sure.
I can also wait for years before I change my phone and keenly waiting S21 to have 3.5mm Jack with within 165 gram weight for upgrade. If not, then I won't upgrade at all.

Make the ... moreBy saying 5 years I mean I'll wait for a device with my desired specs to hit the market now or in a year or two and then wait a year or two for the price to fall to a more reasonable level. I'm still using Samsung Galaxy S7. It's still great. So I want to upgrade when fancy devices are a bit old and no longer cost $1000+, more like $500-.
Meanwhile I'll buy a PS5 :D

It should come with 6750 mah battery. Differences should be applied. I strongly recommend using Qualcomm snapdragon prosser instead of exynos. It will make everything cpu, performance much more better then expected. Exynos chips are are worst there performance is not good.

Look at the sales figures of fast charging phones like realme 7pro and decide upon the wattage of chargers of your upcoming flagships.. Look with in what time Vivo Iqoo5 , Mi10 ultra and Oppo 120w chargers full charge their phones. By the time S21ultra launches these type of chargers will be ruling the industry..

My wish list:
Make it thicker and get rid of camera bump.
Install thick glass with sapphire coating to maximize scratch resistance. Increase glass thickness to improve chances of surviving a fall on concrete from 2m height. Make it slightly bigger by adding bezels on all sides so I can actually hold it in my hand without covering sides with my fingers. Use standard 16:9 screen without cut outs and water drops. Use physical buttons. Use practical materials for the back of the phone - metal or plastic. Make the battery user-replace-able. Give me my 3.5mm jack, your crappy plugs can't beat my old cheap Shure215s. Even at 3 times the price. And that battery... I want to listen to music 10 hours straight, wired headphones are fine for that. I don't need the latest and greatest SoC, just fast enough for 120hz refresh rate. And 240hz polling rate for touch screen. Preferably with 6+gb ram and 128+ gb memory. I don't need under-display fingerprint scanner, side mounted scanner is fine. I don't want elongated screen, give me three physical buttons on the bottom. I don't need 3, 4, 5+ cameras. Give me one high-quality module. I'll accept ToF module for better fake bokeh, I may consider a 75-85mm telephoto module for portraits, and I want my main wide-angle module to be the best phone camera available today in any phone, be it 108mp, 150mp, 600mp or 64mp. I want quality, not number of pixels.
And, of course, I want it at $500 max.
