Wow Sony Mobile finally did it! As a fan of their phones, I've been hoping they'd deliver on a phone that had no weaknesses, no drawbacks and just a true flagship phone that no one will go "oh but it's missing OLED, it's missing 120hz, it's missing optical stabilization, too small battery etc". Finally! Sony made a phone with zero compromise and also has all the stuff that makes Sony truly remarkable like side mounted fingerprint sensor, aux port, microsd slot, water resistance, 20fps shooting and now 4k 120fps recording, 21:9 ratio (if you ever watch 21:9 content, you know why this is great). I dare say this is the BEST phone out there. Great job Sony!!!

I was waiting finally for smaller Sony phone, but i was think it will be around 650-700 euros, but 900 LOL - NO THANKS!
Afther all these "SONY arogant" years on the market, hope Sony will DIE!
IS SHAME what they doing wich their price's and they didnt create full screen phone even this year or really smaller phone for most of us users who dosent like and want this maddnes of big phones on the market!

This is the true successor of the xz compact line up. Well done, Sony.
Don't even compare the price to big 6.7+ in screen behemoths. Those who want compact flagship Android, this is the way to go.

There were many empty spaces there that if they could leverage it well, they could fit at least 3800mAH battery inside (rough calculation), plus Qi wireless charging (qi has thickness around 0.2 or 0.3mm anyway)

u said camera are practicaly unchanged, and I can see the cameras the only reason to upgrade from original xperia 5, at least if data on your phone pages are correct. 12 mp normal senzor is way bigger. ultrawide has autofocus. Now we have to see if Sony finally manages to make their camera software produce photos that doesn't look like painting when observed on 100%, but 12mp on 1/1.7 senzor sounds promising
