I think people are prejudice about this phone because it's coming from a unknown maker in China and has an unpalatable marketing name such as flexpai and royole. People trash it saying it's too thick while adoring the Samsung Z fold 2. But it's actually thinner than the samsung Z fold. And the crease mark is less visible as well. They claim it'll easily scratch or crack for being double sided outside, while we all carry our slab phones with one side already exposed and 30 % of iphone users have already cracked glass on their phone. It's possible the plasticky display is less likely to crack when dropped compared to iphones and can withstand most light scratches. Reviewers need to show real world usage to prove it's scratch prone or crack prone instead of just saying so. I'm still waiting with baited breath this phone turns out to be 1: scratch and crack resistant. 2. google services enabled via side chain loading. 3. Bands 4 LTE available for USA region. That's what real reviewers should be working on.

This literally looks like 2 phones taped together from the side. Pass. Too fat. Besides the only form factor that makes sense for expandable phones is rollable and slide out. The new LG slide out is going to be a hit. And priced under $1000

You know what, this one actually looks like it might be a worthy product. Especially if they could aggressively price it to undercut Razr and Galaxy Flip, this thing could make huge sales.

Unlike many contributes,.l am willing to be objective and rate the device on its merit . I have lost respect for many of these so called professional reviewers who deliver subjective opinions without spending enough time with devices unless they are Apple or Samsung. But thats another story. Relevance to my peronal needs and of course price point will drive my decision. Therfore I look forward to checking the Flexpai based on the aforementioned criteria.

I expect people to easily highlight faults of newer brands and then not give credit where it's due
Maybe you should do some research on their cicada wing hinge thats coming very innovative actually

"The display itself is a 7.8-inch AMOLED with a 4:3 aspect ratio and 1920×1440-pixel resolution."
You know what this is? This is basically a folding screen iPad!

Oh, look. It's the phone with creaking hinges. Looks cheap and felt cheap. The outer screen going to tear apart faster than you can pay the installment.

This is what foldable should be like, hi end cameras not downgrade. Its like what mateX could be if it would come then with android, worthy next gen device to replace ordinary smartphone.
