Royole FlexPai 2 bags TENAA certification, full specs confirmed
The Royole FlexPai 2 was technically unveiled back in March but most of its key features weren't detailed. Yesterday we learned the official launch is happening on September 22 and now the foldable is up on TENAA with its full specs on board and several renders that confirm its design.
FlexPai 2 employs a similar design to its predecessor with a wrap-around foldable display but appears to have slimmer bezels and adds two more cameras all tilted next to the screen. The display itself is a 7.8-inch AMOLED with a 4:3 aspect ratio and 1920×1440-pixel resolution.
The camera setup consists of a 64MP primary shooter alongside 16MP, 8MP and 32MP modules though we don’t get specifics on their lense types. We can also spot an LED flash and accompanying sensors below the cameras as well as a speaker.
The Snapdragon 865 will power the device paired with 8/12GB RAM and 256 or 512GB storage. The dimensions come in at 186.2×133.8×6.5(mm) when unfolded and the FlexPai 2 weighs in at 340 grams. It will launch in Magic Gold, Dark Night Black and Star Grey colors booting Android 10. The battery is listed at 4,450mAh.

This literally looks like 2 phones taped together from the side. Pass. Too fat. Besides the only form factor that makes sense for expandable phones is rollable and slide out. The new LG slide out is going to be a hit. And priced under $1000

You know what, this one actually looks like it might be a worthy product. Especially if they could aggressively price it to undercut Razr and Galaxy Flip, this thing could make huge sales.
