TOM, 18 Jul 2012What d asxhole need a 64GB in mobile ? Sick ... even 16GB i... moreYou'd be surprised - I have 16GB SII + 32GB microSD (that means approximately 48GB) and I've managed to fill it up already. I have a supply of HD movies, photos (taken with the phone and for demonstration purposes from my DSLRs) and a store of .FLAC music (which is easily 3x larger than 320kbps MP3).
I'd want a 32GB SIII at the very least. 64GB of internal storage. Having 96GB would be better. I prefer to have storage available to use than otherwise. Sure, I have the 50GB Dropbox, but if I don't have to rely on cloud-storage and therefore waiting for my files to download, or deleting files so I can download the files I want again, I'd gladly have some extra internal space.

TOM, 18 Jul 2012What d asxhole need a 64GB in mobile ? Sick ... even 16GB i... morewhy would you care if most people are wise or not? you shouldn't be so provocative on your comments. the fact of the matter is that people people want choice, be as it may 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64gb or who knows 3tb.. who cares? people want choices and some might even buy it.. if you don't wanna buy 16/32/64gb options that's your own choice. it's not your call to label people "unwise".

64gb version is still on mobilefun web site http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/sim-free-samsung-galaxy-s3-i9300-pebble-blue-64gb-p35127.htm.

I asked the guy at carphone warehouse, he said that 64gb version should arrive end of this month or next month. (not sure whether it is true or not).

But in some countries, samsung just sell only 16 gb version.

If i had been informed, i would have waited for the 32gb availability in my country.

And yes for others, since the beginning, i have a microSD 64gb with 50gb free : apps/games won't install on it, it's only for your own documents, music/videos/photos.. on a S3.

I just don't see the point in paying the extra price. You can get 32GB and 64GB class 10 cards working just fine on these phones, and transfer speeds are excellent. One might argue that having a 64 GB model allows you to have up to 128GB in total, but I seriously doubt anyone uses that much...

thats why apple always comes on top when it comes to releasing their products on time, they dont do like samsung promising to release a product then change their minds, this is the second time samsung did this remember the galaxy nexus last year? i rest my case :p
