What do you mean by that? All of them just look like rectangles anyways. You sound like a corporate mouthpiece.

Anonymous, 22 Sep 2020RIP 765 owners , this has better cores ! As if they matter that much, the 765G has superior graphics, which is more important for graphics demanding games like majority of the most popular games on smartphones today.
Also, this SoC was made to catch up to a one year old SoC. That's right, 1 YEAR older. And it's being built on a less efficient 8nm fabrication process (I know 7nm isn't much better, but that's still something to consider especially with more powerful cores producing more heat).

I think companies just making this a marketing BS we know that they can put all the tech in a single chip but they release the tech on a staggered basis and market it as new and improved tech but in reality its just the same chip but they gradually add the a new feature which is already available before, just a marketing ploy.

Although SD690G is a decent SoC offered at a very low price, no phone-makers use it because SD690G only supports NSA mode, not SA/NSA dual-mode, which is a big NO-NO for 2020 5G phones. The greatest advantage of SD750G over SD690G, as a 5G SoC, is NSA/SA dual-mode support, which is relevant to most 5G markets, not mmWave support, which is only relevant to USA 5G market.
OnePlus is the only phone-maker that has used SD690G in one of its phones, at the explicit request from a US carrier (T-mobile). (T-mobile has no plan to offer SA-mode 5G service any time soon.)

Well, in the good old days, I'd be just outside my window to get some traffic noise to let my boss know I am not at home, and I am travelling somewhere important. With technology progressing this way, work is going to get tough.

Only 20% more performance than 730G.
Lol Dimensity 800/1000 series eating this alive for breakfast.
If only they could increase the production of Mediatek Dimensity chips, Qualcomm can soon be history in the budget/mid range segment.

Love to see another 5G SoC enter the market. 2020 is the year with the largest number of new SoCs, and mostly 5G SoCs. Both SD690G and SD750G are good candidates for 5G phones priced below $200.
Qualcomm's line of 2020 5G SoCs (in order of increasing performance):
SD690G, SD750G, SD765G, SD768G, SD775G (forthcoming), SD860 (rumored), SD865.
MediaTek's line of 5G SoCs (Dimensity Series) (in order of increasing performance):
D600 (forthcoming), D720, D800, D800U, D1000L, D820, D1000, D1000+, D1100 (forthcoming).
The smartphone supply-chain is enthusiastically preparing the market for a robust transition to 5G smartphones. Most of the phone-makers, especially those phone designers in those companies, are pretty tired of dealing with legacy 4G. Looking through the universally boring 2020 4G phones, you see those phone designers with disinterest, contempt, or even disdain. As soon as multiple lines of low-priced 5G phones (from $75 and up) are available in plenty by the end of the year, we are ready, collectively, to bid farewell to those legacy phones.

Anonymous, 22 Sep 2020So, ppl buy phone thinking of game performance? LOL, Ear... moreLooks like half of the comentaries in GSMArena are about gaming, people nowadays are very addicted to mobile games, which I think is just stupid.. Anyway, nowadays mobile cpu's are powerful enough and normal people won't feel the difference between them, maybe in those silly games.. I have a Moto One Zoom with a Snapdragon 675 and is running perfectly fine, without lags.
