Nokia is a relic of old.

Symbian - Outdated, junk! Cannot compete with iOS and Android.
MeeGo - Killed. This could've been great actually, this OS showed lots of promise but Nokia sucks and they blew it as usual.
WP - No one cares, and if people will start liking it, Samsung will quickly jump in and destroy Nokia.
Android - Again, Samsung will out-manufacture them easily.

Nokia keeping the RnD department is Salo, Finland... what a joke... I ask one simple question.. why have a RnD department if they are using WP as their OS..????

WP does not let you customize anything... use RnD for design of the phone then flash the UGLY WP OS in it...

Nokia.. you are as good as dead.. I will mourn at your funeral...

Nokia should switch their gameplan.if they just made a high-end android running phone they'd race to the top.most people don't like wp,and forget about the dead symbian.nokia could heavily customize an android monster.

Nokia need to stop fighting against themselves!

There is space for several phone OS's within a company's product portfolio, as Samsung - now marketleaders - have proved

So why did Nokia work so hard to kill their own excellent Symbian and Meego OS's and ensure that nobody will (be able to afford to) buy the exciting new Nokia 808?

Why do they refuse to issue any Android phones, even though many people (though not me) clearly want them - issuing an android phone won't stop people buying Windows Phones, it just means those that want an Android phone will buy it from another manufacturer instead!

The reason for these obvious failings in Nokia's product strategy can be summed-up two words: Stephen Elop

It's true that Nokia did get lazy over the last few years, but Stephen Elop's deliberate internal valdalism and selling-out of the company to the product strategy of another organisation in which he is a major shareholder (Microsoft - unbelievable conflict of interests) is certainly not the answer

This man needs to go, and quickly. Nokia shareholders need to act!

Nokia can not compete they are just a below average manufacture like Philips or HP who was lucky back then because Samsung LG didn't focus on cellular phones and HTC wasn't exist back then or Apple.
But now Samsung LG they started to focus on making Smartphones because of that Nokia will never have a chance to comeback because they are not that good or even were that great in first place.

If not on a full flow, then Nokia should at least launch a few Android phones for testing its market demand. After that, Nokia should decide what kind of phones to market

the reason for the declining sales of n0kia is the over excited announcement of their elop. he kills a new product, by announcing a new one that may be released 1 or 2 years in future, why the hell are you buying a product that will be dead soon??
