But the real issue, is not about the experience, is about how much they ask for that experience. Because, if you can get similar experience with very few minuses (like IP rating, OLED panel, standard cameras or plastic built for example), in a 300-500EUR phone, then why pay 1200EUR for a phone then?

So they will put this poor chipset to S21 and S21+, and put exynos 1000 and snapdragon 1000 to S21 Ultra. Greedy Samsung is killing flagship market

I don't see why there's so much hype, SoC and software optimization is much more important than those raw figures. I have been using different smartphones from different vendors, a good example of how important good optimization is can be found on a phone like LG V30 ( SD 835 and 3300mAh battery) butter-smooth performance and can easily last all day with normal use or 8hrs SOT on heavy use, compare that with other SD835 - powered phones.

I literally explained in the previous comment that it isn't about removing it WITHOUT any replacement for it, but to actually provide a better solution which is non display nor privacy intrusive and better quality to use main camera + display.
Curved display is only good for peoples who haven't tested it and don't know better, the market is full of peoples taking close ups and thinking those are macros and saying the macro camera is useless, so of course they are obsessed with such a bad thing that have for only positive aspect to look good in pictures, but once in the hand, between the accidental touches, the glances, distorted image, fragility, awkward handling, added cost and all, it is more an abomination than anything else.
The Jack is not optional, many users still want it and even need it, there are much more than audio equipment that goes into that port, and what the point of buying a brand new 400€ high quality Hi-Fi headset to get flagship smartphones that can't get it other than through a low quality and sound degrading and unpractical dongle ?
The Jack is over 140 year old and was never contested, even today it is still the N°1 choice in many domains or sharing this top position with alternatives like XLR, including professional musician and sound engineering, there is no removing the Jack, it was only made to sell crappy bluetooth stuff that many wouldn't have bought otherwise if given the choice.
Samsung are representing the worst behavior one can have in the Smartphone industry along with Apple, no wonder they want to get rid of the SD, and when not offered choices, this isn't competition, no one else want their Exynos and the only reason they don't offer both is because they know too well the Snapdragon is better.
Huawei made good competition, so much the government had to take action to save their Samsung puppet and owned Apple.
If you want competition, the first step is to have diversity, addressing as much large target audience than niche groupes, but having all smartphones being basically the same with very minor differences that have a crazy high price margin and don't show any innovation because it is easier to not think and copy what everyone else is doing, that is not good, competition or not, having low competition and higher diversity would be better for the customers.

Front camera is absolute, many people still need that especially in current covid 19 condition. Curve display is added value for many people, just more premium. 3.5mm jack is doable, but not a feature, more like backward decision from samsung perspective. Samsung want to get rid snapdragon actually, but they can't because snapdragon license modem in US. So, just hope exynos actually more powerfull than Snapdragon, healthier competition right.

Actually I talk about better alternative by still using display + camera while also using the superior main camera over the tiny, lesser quality and intrusive front camera.
Also you can thanks Berserker89 for that, I was simply defending the idea of making some smartphones without front camera (as many of us actually don't use nor want them, enough to justify a sub-market for that) and he always came and insisted on negatively going against this idea despite me explaining to him many times this isn't a bright thing to do, and I clearly told him that the way I did it was actually non intrusive but if he insisted bringing his negativity to my comments, I would go to the next level and really often bring the subject.
He didn't even leave a single additional comment of mine alone, so...Here we are xD

I'm not that sure if Exynos 1000 will be more powerful than SD875 (the report may be false), as this conflicts with other reports and reliable Samsung leakster Ice Universe (has a very good track record with Samsung phones) also mentioned the same. But we'll wait for other news.

S10, S20 and S30 seem more logic than S10, S20 and S21, like Nvidia who got from GTX 10x0 to RTX 20x0 to now confirmed RTX 30x0.
Though with the Exynos 2100 it could make senses to see an S21, but doesn't automatically mean it is related.
It could also be an engineering sample with an early SoC far from its final performances, maybe even with not all core enabled.
And though it was announced the Exynos 1000 will be "faster", it may only be in raw performances, maybe in AI, media and other in-chip feature it isn't as fast as the Snapdragon and therefor the benchmark from Geekbench who I would assume take those quite significantly into consideration as they are a big part of real world performances may also influence the score.
Anyway, for the S21/S30 I really hope Samsung plan some smart decisions, like flat display, bringing back the 3.5mm Jack, getting rid of the punch hole and not taking the underdisplay camera road or even smartly just get rid of the near useless front camera entirely, allow dual sim + independent SD card slot, and best of all, make the Snapdragon variant available to all markets, one can dream right ? 😂

There was a rumor in august that only S21 Ultra would use the better exynos.
While 21/21+ with a slightly weaker version.
Like Qualcomm did with 810 and 808.
