Doesn't mini-led have the same display quality as OLED but much better battery life?
I think a little bit less black is a great tradeoff for longer battery life.

Samsung (and TCL) use quantum dots, Sony uses PFS Phosphor, LG uses it‘s proprietary Nano technology. All of them are basically wide color gamut displays.
And TCL combines miniLED and quantum dot on the 6 and 8 series.
Today, only the low end models of companies don‘t have a wide color gamut, even though they achieve it in different ways. Samsung also uses Phosphor on its TU8500, but quantum dot of the higher end QLED range, while the TU8000 and TU7000 don‘t have a wide color gamut.

Yessss miniled LCD panels will soon be on smartphones I can't wait
LCD has the biggest potential but implementation is so slow smh
We will be getting microled/LCD hybrid screens before we get full emissive microled
