Sony do seem to have a gap between the very cheap phone and the 5 which a plastic backed 765 soc based phone could fit in... but the Chinese have that price point with a new phone every week it seems

      The pre-order free gifts listed on the Sony HK site seem very "low value" compared to the usual Sony Watch, Sony Headphones etc gifts of the past.... may be Sony know they have a hit and don't need too much of a bribe... which means they may well be able to offer more colours eventually than the 2 UK launch ones... that would annoy me if I miss out on the colour and get a half value gift. PS Sony, in case I am wrong make the pre order gift a PS5 ;)

        Hit bullseye? Maybe, but the price is expensive.

                Well it's good. And one of the only options with headphone jack. But it's definitely not a bullseye.

                    When is the release date for japan or singapore region?

                      Yup, People seem to like what Sony delivered with X 1 II and 5 II.
                      Great smartphones.
                      Kinda exclusive too, cause hard to even get in most markets, especially certain color options.
