I bought a iPhone XS Max this year - it's still a great phone, I'm as happy with it as my other phone, a OnePlus 8 Pro. In fact, the camera is better on the XS Max - the 8 Pro's cameras are pretty rubbish.
I'm considering trading in the XS Max for a 11 Pro in a few months once the 12 comes out.

Is true, you can buy new Android phones (and some of them really nice) with sub 400EUR. The cheaper iphone model is iphone SE 2020, which cost 400EUR.
But, usually people buy iphones for software experience and stable OS. People buy Android phones for everything else.
I like and use both, even thou, I do not like the new IOS 14 so much.

Still no iPhone killer since the original iPhone that started it all. Even the iPhone SE with its outdated design sells better than any android phone.

Iphone is a joke. With a 1000 dollar phone that's still running on a 60hz display when rest of the world went from 90 hz to 120 hz shows how little people know about smartphones.. That's Apples advantage that there are so many stupid people who are not tech savvy and blindly buys a product because it's expensive.. Ohh I forgot.. the 1000 dollar phone doesn't come with an adapter too which you have to buy separately cause it's bad for the environment.. not cost cutting I repeat not cost cutting..

Some here try hard to rubbish the iPhone but the fact is that my three years old iPhone 8 Plus on the very latest OS is still mesmerizingly smooth. And that’s the reason why I will upgrade to another iPhone when it is needed to upgrade.

And I am pretty sure in the last 2-3 years all the Android phones below 300EUR looked more or less the same. And is not a bad thing and people still buying them.

It will be interesting to see which dinosaur they will resurrect for a 200 $ one. Perhaps iPhone 4s or something?
