I don't care about it being modeled after the Fold. I'm just interested to see if they can make a slimmer device with less of a gap. When it is all said and done, Foldable phones will not look like the Fold or the Mate XS. They will look like the Microsoft Duo.
The Fold is not the ideal design Samsung wants. That is proven by the two concept Folding phones they showed in their commercials. The Fold's design is to accommodate a screen that cannot completely fold flat at this time.

They should price it very low. Unless people will go for Z fold because they probably will be very similar. I believe people who chose Mate X over Galaxy fold priotized that outer folding display...

Unless I'm missing something, the major issue with this design is that there are no video calls unfolded...if it's a pop-up, then why put dual punch hole on the folded phone view?
