Flashback: the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3, the phone that was larger than the Galaxy Note

27 September 2020
It was larger than just about anything back in 2013 that wasn't a tablet, in fact.

Actually, Samsung Mega was one of the finest spiritual predecessor to Note 8 Series.

I still remember how tough and high endurance of this phone to withstand typical daily use physically. Samsung Mega 5.8 will be missed a lot by me. A true epic phone from Sammy.

Sadly, I am having a major conflict with Sammy over their Note FE, Note 10 and Galaxy S9 Plus. Hopefully, Samsung will overcome their major problem with QC on their own hardwares.

It is not that bad to bring back to life the Samsung Mega Series and embedding them on M Series of Samsung.

You will may always miss the biggest phone you owned.
Miss 9:16 aspect ratio wide phones for twin thumb typing being easier. In Long boi era there are very few options(7"+displays) for portrait mode wide keyboards.

I remembered it well when it first came out. I can only imagine people who has lot of money can buy this Mega. Not to mention on that year most of people playing minions game on this phone! Is so satisfying! I always wishes to hands on this phone

The screen broke (as in the glass front) multiple times but he preferred to have it repaired rather than switch phone. There wasn't really anything in the Xperia lineup to replace it.. nothing quite the same anyway. One of a kind.

I most definitely remember when I was first introduced and purchased this incredible device. It had one of the largest displays I had ever seen before in phone history and for that reason It was a must-have..!!! The color display was very eye-guaging and easy to navigate. I absolutely loved this phone so when it was stolen and I went back to the store to get another one, it was devasting to find out it had been DISCONTINUED...😢 The GALAXY MEGA IS THE RESSON THAT I AM A SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE OWNER TO THIS DAY AND I can not even imagine having any other brand of phone vesides the SAMSUNG BRANG.. 🗣#BRINGBACKTHEMEGA..

I have 2 but because I had to Frankenstein two together because of sonys infamous dead touch screens and sudden death motherboard issues from then. Thank god by around the z4 or z5 they finally took care of that.
Just can't believe they let such serious fatal issues last for so many years.

But I do love that 6.44 inch 16x9 display.
