thats 19,5x19,5 + 9x9 = 461,25
√461,25 = 21,477 side X
9/21,477 x 5,4 = 2,263 inch x 2,54 = 5,7 cm wide screen
5,7 cm that is very narrow
even the 2020 iphone SE has 5,85 cm screen width
Try to type a message on that.
(a 16:9 5" phone has 6,2 cm width, this is where it gets comfortable)

Users that are not in the Apple ecosystem have noticed a pattern of people within the Apple ecosystem having some behavior that is probably not very logical but more in line with the herd mentality. When a product from apple comes out that is clearly late or even a rip off of another product they will call it innovation however these are the same people that called the previous product garbage or not relevant.

I love Apple. They make very good products. They don’t always come with a long list of features, but they do come with more quality and peace of mind than their competitors. Just because i’m a Apple fan does NOT mean I agree with everything they do. I laugh at terms like “iSheep” and “Apple fanboy”. I am not one of those at all. Just because I really like their products doesn’t make me blind. Obviously, there are some things that I think could’ve been better, but since I believe in the company and what they’re doing, I’m not one of the many Apple haters and Android lovers who bash everything A
Apple is not unlike Nvidia and Intel, in that they overcharge for products, lie about advancements and competitors, and rely on mindshare to maintain their marketshare. They also have a long, long history of making products that break easily, and then sticking with the design that caused the failures for several years (Most recently the awful keyboard on the Macbooks).
Apple also locks people into their ecosystem and overcharges for accessories and components. They prey on those who want ‘the best’ or to look cool, or be popular. This is genius, but it’s also devious.
Some people are stupid. Some people will tell you that Apple doesn’t make anything good and that if you buy anything from Apple, you’re simply throwing away money. Sometimes this is true (E.g. Iphones from the last 2 years, trash can Mac Pro, new pro display stand), and it’s seriously off-putting to those of us who like to have options, but that doesn’t mean it’s all bad.
Apple used to make amazing hardware. In the 90’s and early 2000’s they brought pros hardware that kicked in the teeth of competitors, didn’t charge your life savings for it, had the best software-hardware integration available (arguably still do), and they allowed for easy component access and upgrade-ability (Power Mac G3, anyone?). Nowadays it’s almost entirely form over function. (Not always true, like with the iPad Pro, which has some seriously impressive specs, or the newly announced pro display XDR which is arguably a bargain for artists and 3d and video professionals.) Take the Macbook Pro for example. When they decided to throw a CPU with 6 cores into a chassis that small, you got what everyone who knows anything expected: Serious throttling. On top of that, these are supposed to be PRO machines, meaning exceptional build quality, longevity, connectivity, battery life, and hardware capability. 2/5. Dongles for days, thermal throttling, keyboards that you have to replace after you sneeze on them, it’s trash. In cases like that, you really are throwing away money.
My personal problem with Apple is their business practices. I will never buy or recommend their products because they don’t care about their customers, and do everything they can to extract money from them at every single opportunity. If you think that this isn’t true, or that it’s warranted or deserved, you’re an iSheep.

The iphone mini will be just an iphone SE 2 series and is allready overpriced at launch with a full screen and 5,4 (5,8) inch. There are better alternatives that are much cheaper then 650 euro.
Only thing about the Samsung Series under 500 euro or just oneplus or maybe a pixel 4 5,8 inch. Still must say 5.4 inch in these days a ninch display size in Android land and could be intresting for many people but not for this price, You can find it 80% cheaper or maybe 50% like the pixel 4 what is not a bad device at all.

Now that the price is present here, the only thing I'm waiting for now is the official spec especially for the 12 mini and vanilla 12. I can easily assume that the 12 Pro and the 12 Pro Max will be exactly identical to each other except for screen size and battery capacity.

The Pro models get double the storage at base, and the higher storage options receive $50 price cuts.
The 12 gets a $50 price increase and costs the same as the XR costed.
