So, let me understand: people outside China stop buying Huawei because of the lack of GMS, even if they can install GMS manually. So, why people outside China would buy Huawei without Android, GMS and any chance to install GMS ????. It is worse !!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 We already saw what happened with Bada on a Giant like Samsung and Windows Mobile on a giant like Nokia. Failure !!!

I think Huawei needs to get this running on device as far back as the Kirin 960. Not only because I have an Honor 9, but I don't see much sense in having another player in the race, if the software support can't even rival that of Apple. The odds are stacked against them, so they need all the numbers they can get. This is a good way to get as many numbers as possible overnight.

This is going to be big in China. And it looks like China has already started producing there own SoC's. And... Looks like they are moving forward and catching up slightly already...
It seems that they can use Mediatek for now.
However. This trade war based on tech is very similar to that of the cold war. My family members did say that the UK at the time (90's) where not allowed at all any Russian made tech inside the UK in fear of national security exploitation.
America seems to be doing the same sort of thing.

Make it avaliable for almost any device, like lineage os, and many will install it on their older/new smartphones.
