My Google pixel 4 XL has been the worst phone I have ever had. I was so excited to get it after owning my very first iPhone that I hated. Needless to say, the Google phone has not been any better. VERY poor battery life! I cannot even get one day out of a charge and I only use it recreational and don't even have games on my phone. I check email, texts and occasionally social media sites. The latest problem is my email not updating/syncing. I have tried everything that had been suggested to no avail! My phone freezes ALL the time. I am so done with this one. And of course, I cannot get a new one for another year and some!!!

Our camera still isn't working in the pixel 2.... It stopped working since the update alot of us did in July. I pray they fix it in this upcoming update, it's really sad though, Thousands of us have complained to them but haven't gotten any response of any kind

My Pixel XL 2 has been bear perfect for me and dreading having to replace it by February 2021 as it will not get the new security updates.
This mobile phone is still in great condition and the battery still keeps a decent charge.
What has been released from Google pixel new line up I'm afraid that I won't be getting another Pixel phone.
So Hey Google follow iPhone and do updates for 5 years on your phone's.
I love this phone and truly hate that I have to move on.

The 4a screen protector change is night and day. Android 11 has been pretty unusable with any tempered glass screen protectors until now, and since the update, I haven't experienced a single issue. Took too long to address such a glaring issue for my liking, but at least the update actually fixes the issue.

How about fixing the camera issue a lot of us are dealing with? Mine failed at 2 years. 3 months out of warranty so I would have to pay to get it fixed.

Sure. That's nice. Yet another thing to look forward to for whenever my ordered phone arrives. It has been delayed a while now, Google!

I was looking to upgrade my Pixel 2XL but google have dropped the ball with the pixel 5 IMHO so having trouble deciding what phone to get.

Google must of expected pixel 2 owners wanting to upgrade so why not release a phone worthwhile of upgrading to?
I was hoping google would release a pixel 5 XL with snapdragon 865 4g only at a decent price.

I don't care about wireless charging or 5G. I doubt i will make use of 5G in the next 2 /3 years. I was ready to upgrade and then google disappointed when they announced the pixel 5. the pixel 2 3 and 4 have small batteries and the xl models had bigger batteries. this is why i expected a pixel 5 Xl which would be a worthy upgrade.

I don't want to be nearly a year without updates however no other phone will give me the same android experience as the google phone. Google really have dropped the ball. I understand offering some cheaper options but still provide a flagship phone for those who want it. Other companies can provide phones at different price points so why can't google?

It is another open source version of Android that is supported longer by the open source community. It's a little more complicated to install than out of the box Android but looks like a good alternative. I'm also thinking about the Pixel 5. The specs look good to me and my Pixel 2 is starting to hit have little bugs that seem to be hardware issues. Also the 4GB of RAM isn't great anymore, and the Pixel 5 radio has lot more bands of LTE and of course 5G so perhaps it will have better reception.

Apple play games, they start dropping features. They claim you get the latest OS, but it doesn't do any of the new stuff. It's not even a new OS, it's a skin on the old OS. Totally fake, but good enough to fool idiots in the press.

Very please with my Pixel 2, it's served me very well, and it's now time to upgrade. The support cycle is about right IMHO. Supporting phones past this seems like a pointless exercise.
