Anyone wondering why xiaomi keep on rebranding redmi to poco. It's simple coz redmi is now exclusive to amazon india. So to get customers from flipkart they are rebranding devices to poco as poco is exclusive to flipkart india.

Mediatek, 06 Oct 2020Mediatek makes me puke! yackEvery entry level soc is bad, Mediatek aswell as Unisoc or Snapdragon (665 as an example, terrible soc) while the higher end Mediatek socs are very nice in use. Love my Helio G90t power phone, haven't encountered anything that's challenging enough to make it lag or stutter.

The Redmi segment which doesn't have "Note" name also has big display. Not all people like big, thick, and heavy phone. That's why Apple creates new iPhone 12 series with some size variant. Other top Android makers also have some variant which have smaller display and slimmer body.

Who cares about most affordable poco phone when it is same as Redmi 9C with only difference of a ir plaster.
Poco started up as a flagship killer for under 300 euro a flagship cpu. Now they are same as any other and have nothing special. Making more and more models under the name in different class makes no sense if they are just with poco name instead of a redmi. Nobody is buying Poco for it's brand name cause it's a ugly name. I would buy Poco only for low price and good specs but now days they have nothing special on specs to go with them

Is it another phone with ads like its "parent" redmi 9c? Supposedly there ads pop up randomly and constantly which is annoying. If so - is there any option to turn them off for good or does any update bring them back if one manages to turn them off?

Why make such a big display and choose 720p resolution? Either use a smaller display or up the resolution.
