Poco C3 debuts as the most affordable Poco phone ever
After plenty of teasers, Poco finally announced its latest smartphone - the Poco C3. The C stands for camera while the 3 is the number of sensors on the back. Looks alone will tell you it’s a Redmi 9C clone (minus the fingerprint scanner) and similarities are certainly more than skin-deep. The Poco comes with a two-tone pattern on the back for better grip and fewer fingerprints. It's available in Arctic blue, Lime green and Matte black colors.
You get a 6.53-inch waterdrop notch display with HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. There’s a 13MP primary camera alongside a 2MP macro cam and 2MP depth helper. We have the Helio G35 at the helm with 3/4GB RAM and 32/64GB storage with SD card expansion.
The phone boots MIUI12 based on Android 10 and packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W fast charging.
Most importantly, the Poco C3 comes with a pretty enticing starting price of INR 7,499 ($102) for the 3/32GB model. There’s also the 4/64GB trim for INR 8,999 ($122) and sales tip-off on October 16. SBI card owners will receive a 10% discount.
