If Face ID is here to stay, there is no way to get rid of the notch.
It could me smaller but it would be there.
The only solution is to bring back Touch ID and put it underscreen, which is technically possible already.

Why though Just Change your name to I like apple and I hate android I this point because it's exactly what your doing. In my experience I have used both apple and android and I can say that apple is for people who like their phones functioning out of the box and Android is for people who like tinkering their phones. In my preference I choose both they are both good in their own ways and have their pros and cons. And your point you're saying apple is better untouched than android is right? That means you don't like customizing and tinkering your phone the way you want it. You just want it plain? Android is for people that like tinkering their phones and Iphones are for people that like their phones functioning plain out of the box.

All our schools use iPad, because it makes sense, no one here begs for something new, if we want we just move to android.

Apple needed 8 years after that to launch their first phone with LED screen. By the time Apple supposedly "perfect" their under display tech, foldable Androids may very well be mainstream.

Oneplus 8 pro is a huge phone, have you compare the battery life and consumption with the iPhone Pro Max series (same size category)? iPhone normally have great web browsing and video consumption compared to calling, look at the sub section of the battery endurance between One Plus Pro 8 vs iP11maxpro. Speakers... seriously?
                      What cool apps? Better performance... you sure?

                      Sure iPhone now lags 120hz screen, but it does make up with the 120hz touch sensing, which makes the UI more snappier and responsive vs most flagship androids.

                      So like i say, no android 2020 manage to completely destroy iPhones 2019.. Nor did iPhone 2019 win in all categories vs ALL android phones put together. Thats why the reviews are the same year after year, one of the top of the line flagships.. iPhones will always be place there.

                        High refresh rate has existed on Android phones since 2017.
                        They have been standard on flagships from 2019.

                        Stainless steel of iPhone, lol ANDROID Phones are coming with titanium build.

                        iOS looks ugly, bland and boring.
                        Look at iBoyzz going crazy on the Internet sharing their home screens.
                        Their newfound yet handicapped ability to customize is keeping their time busy.
                        It's like a person denied for a decade, finally gets to eat pizza.
                        IOS will always have inferior customization compared to Android.

                                  Historically, they have had to Beg for fast charging, Beg for Bigger screen. Beg for IP68 rating, beg for multiple cameras, beg for new designs.
                                  Android users don't have to do this, we get things that iOS users can only dream of.
