this article is embarrassing. this is poor engineering, and yet you actually try to make it look it's better than the series x... why are you even comparing to series x? everybody constantly comparing is tiresome. Xbox series x is a masterpiece.

If you buy digital only PS5, you don't own games like BR version does, you just licence games like is on PC, but on PC there is huge competition in selling digital keys which lacks for PS games.
So, you buy licences for games like on PC but without super cheap prices. Buy BR version if you value your money.
And btw, I'm only Steam gamer.

I would definitely choose Practicality and Reliability over looks/compactness/attractiveness any time of the Day.

I think that is why the ... moreI have many friends who actually play only FIFA 95% of the time on their console. and tbh, what i have seen among FIFA players, majority plays on Playstation. the PS controller is way comfortable for FIFA in comparison to XBOX controller. I think most of them would again buy PS5 and dont ever think about switching. the extra power of Xbox or gamepass doesnt even entice them. and for gamers like me who plays mostly common titles, dont need gamepass. i often buy used games (disks) from gamestop or ebay, a substitute for gamepass.

PS5/XboxSX is already economically viable. 500 USD is way fine for this devices. if you dont like it, move on. no one is forcing you to buy.

Myself, I am more about quantity. I finish in about 2 months 4 games. And played another 4 or 5 without reaching the end. And all this on 5eur/month subscription on Game Pass for PC.
The last gane I finished was Deliver us The Moon. Only this game costs about 30 eur for PS4 or PC bought separately. It comes free with Game Pass. And the examples can continue.
Of course, if you are a person who plays only big names, than Game Pass is not worth it. But, if you are like me, playing 2-4 games per month, than Game Pass is a miracle.

Amazing. Manufacturers tend to skip attention on mechanical design (both internally and externally) to reduce cost.
Sony, on the other hand took effort to put time on the design of PS5 instead of slapping a regular CAD. It isn't cheap.
They also made it favorable to them via showing the teardown. A lot of good will points and free marketing for them. Cheers and brilliant.

Wow this is incredible, to mass produce a piece of hardware with liquid metal pre-applied hasn't happen so far. Hopefully other manufacturers catch up cause it really does make a difference in temps.

I just hope that it will finally be able to play games with beautiful graphics - the last console generation had absolutely horrible graphics compared to my gaming laptop (and ofc PC's).
I want to play 4K titles on the PS5 and they have to look totally stunning and super beautiful. It has to be a quantum leap in graphics or else I'm returning that piece of garbage tech.
